Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Súdwest-Fryslân

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay at Steffen's. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a journey of discovery and found plenty to keep themselves wonderfully busy. We were in the house for almost 2 weeks right before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most restaurants etc. were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19th. (as info for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had some ready. Thank you so much! We wish you continued wonderful guests who appreciate your gem and treat it well. Maybe see you next time! :-)

My girls and I have been very excited about the beautiful place Lemmer. The place was very bright, modern and welcoming. I'm sure you'll notice a few things on closer inspection, but that didn't hurt the overall impression. We were surprised how central the place was. A club just around the corner, supermarkets can even be reached on foot in a few minutes. Restaurants, small cute shops and also the beach are not far away and can be reached in 2-10 minutes. The double bunk beds are unfortunately very uncomfortable, but the double bed is amazing ! Tessa was always quick to reach and always helped you quickly. We definitely recommend the place. A visit to Lemmer is a must-see.

We were in the house with 4 adults and two toddlers and had a very nice stay. Above all, the bathrooms were clean, very modern and with underfloor heating. There was a good coffee maker and also filters and coffee powder were available. The decor was very lovingly designed, so you felt right at home. In the courtyard of the house there was even a small toy tractor that the boys were very happy about and you could play soccer there very well - in warm weather you could also sit nicely in the garden. The house is very rural, so you have your peace and can go for nice walks.

We visited the air benb with 5 people during the European ice skating in Heerenveen. The apartment exceeded our expectations, spacious and nicely decorated! It was very comfortable! Good and pleasant contact with the hostess via the app. Could have any questions! Certainly subject to repetition, and by mouth advertising we will definitely recommend this air benb!

We had a wonderful week in this house. 6 adults and 6 teenagers had plenty of space and were very happy with 8 bathrooms. Large well-equipped kitchen. Anna was a skilled and pleasant hostess. Responded quickly to questions and gave us great tips and information. We went to the large bathing beach in Lemmer 20 minutes away. Had a great dinner at Pavillion t’Mar on the nearest beach. Rented bikes and explored the surroundings, rented boat on the canals. A full day in Amsterdam was mandatory. Fitness trips on roller skis and in sneakers went well from Rijs. Really happy with your stay and would love to come back! Randi

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

Had a very nice stay! Upon arrival, some "start-up problems", these were immediately seriously picked up by Gaby and well resolved. We felt right at home in this airbnb. Cozy furnishings and equipped with every comfort. If you are looking for a quiet location: look no further :) Beautifully located on the water. It is remote, but a car is necessary for a message.

Very nice apartment, very comfortable bed, very friendly host. The next day the host gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding cities and how to drive a boat to visit nearby attractions. Unforgettable travel experience, we will come again.

We enjoyed our short break very much. The quiet and cozy location was rounded off by the only 15-minute walk to the almost private beach on EuroParcs. The complex (an old farm) and the apartment are very clean. The apartment itself was probably just recently renovated. The landlord is very friendly and committed. We will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baukje’s place! The apartment is beautifully designed, super cozy, and located in a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. Baukje is a truly warm and thoughtful host – we felt welcome and at ease right from the start. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and even better than expected. We’d come back in a heartbeat and can genuinely recommend staying here!

Like the first time, everything was great. Very clean..everything lovingly prepared. Clara (landlady) came by once to ask if everything is okay! But EVERYTHING is really right here! From the apartments, everything is within walking distance, city center and also the beach. We will be happy to come back!!!

This was a top spot to spend the night for a sailing weekend around Sneek. You can park the car for free before 24 hours in one of Sneek's (walking distance) parking garage. Check-in is well arranged and is also super fast!

We had a very nice Easter weekend at Petra and Rein's farm. The farm is beautifully located on the water between the meadows. There is no traffic, you only hear the sound of the birds and the wind. We immediately felt comfortable, thanks in part to the warm welcome from Petra, who showed herself to be a very pleasant hostess throughout our stay. The area invites you to walk, cycle or a nice trip in one of the canoes that Rein and Petra provide. All in all, this is highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and nice place among the Frisian meadows.

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and felt very comfortable in the accommodation! Everything is within walking distance and also the beach is only a few minutes away by car. Communication was super easy and totally friendly. We highly recommend the Klaver garage and would be happy to come back! :)

What a gem this lovely home is in Alkmaar - a gorgeous city to spend two weeks in and explore the Netherlands from. Pasqual was responsive, kind and attentive, and the apartment was absolutely lovely - clean, in a great location just outside of the Old Town and literally minutes from the train station. We ate in almost every night and had a fantastic set-up to do so, including the best oven ever and gas stove. Truly a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough positive things about this wondrous space and the people that host it! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on Lake Jissel. Waking up in bed has never been more beautiful. Very quiet location, super nice hosts. Despite the advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket can be reached in 5-7 minutes on foot daily. A café is almost right outside the front door.

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still quiet. Communication with Majsa was great. As a welcome there was a bottle of wine and something to nibble on. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

Everything went well, the host is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to a train station from which you can get to Amsterdam in half an hour.

Akke’s apartment is the perfect location for us as we have a strong appreciation for historic architecture. We felt very comfortable staying there, and found Akke to be very helpful. She was always around when needed, but never seen otherwise. It was like it was our apartment.

We had a lovely stay! Beautiful apartment, nicely decorated and very spacious. Located in a nice and quiet location, within walking distance of downtown. The area is fantastic for cycling, also Bergen aan Zee is easy to reach within 15 minutes by bike. Bikes can be rented in Bergen city center. Olga was also a very nice hostess, clear communication before and during the stay, everything was pico bello in order. Highly recommended and we'd love to come back!
