We were there for a weekend and it was just wonderful. The place is super clean and totally great furnished, the highlight is of course the hot tub which gets warm really quickly. It was quiet and the surroundings were perfect for relaxing. Everything you need is on site and if there are any questions, the host is quick to reach. Definitely recommended ❤️

Absolutely recommended! Very nice house with everything you need and beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. The highlight is the bathtub with total privacy. Perfect for a nice getaway for two. Many nearby destinations - whether to the beach or to various cities such as Harlem, Zaandam or Alkmaar. An all-round successful overall package.

It was beautiful at Jitty's, we felt right at home - we saw many animals in the yard, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, even poultry:) The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxation and deceleration and the hot tub was great too. For children, the accommodation is certainly also very interesting, as you can also watch the farm life (e.g. milking). You need a car to move around flexibly - Franeker and Harlingen are great little towns with some attractions (especially the planetarium in Franeker!). Leeuwarden is also quickly reached and a little bigger, there is also a lot to see there. But you can also take very nice walks from the property. We will come back very gladly!!

Good and nice accommodation. By car or bike, the supermarket and restaurant are easy to do. Delightful jacuzzi! Also with children fine for an overnight stay. Friendly and quick contact.

Very friendly welcome and communication before and during our stay went smoothly. A beautiful house, lovely (made!) beds, good clean sauna, nice hot tub and cozy kitchen. Everything available for a wonderful stay. View from the house and the garden is wide and beautiful. Unexpectedly beautiful surroundings. In short; completely satisfied!

We had a lovely time at Lydia’s. The cabin is decorated with so much love and one feels right at home The cabin is super clean, very well equipped and child friendly. Our 2-year old loved the toys and didn’t want to leave. The surrounding area is just as beautiful with beautiful forests, stunning meadows, quiet villages and lovely museums nearby. On top of that Lydia is a great host. She replies super fast and was always friendly and super helpful. One can truly feel how much she loves her holiday home and it was such a joy for us to stay at her place. We can highly recommend everything about our stay. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature and some family time. Thank you for having us!

This is a really lovely place. The cottage is super clean and very cozy. Anything you need is present. The location is perfect. Waking up in the middle of nature is really a gift. There are many nice hiking trails, which was wonderful with our dog. We will definitely come back to recharge!

Accommodation (cottage) remarkable for its quiet location and authentic and tasteful decoration, a (real) Dutch country house! Beautiful view from the kitchen / dining room over the countryside, in the garden with many birds. Carina is a very efficient and very discreet person. We would highly recommend this lovely house, we had a great week there. Good option also for visiting the country, nothing is really far away. In addition, the small historic town of Hoorn is charming, and there are 3 supermarkets and many shops, bars, restaurants just 12 km away. We'll get back to you as soon as possible… Didier & Yency

We spend easter weekend here with the two of us plus our dog. We felt welcome from the start and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Perfect home base for long hikes in the forest.

Great place to stay on a beautiful lake. Many possibilities, especially for children. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our vacation early due to illness, but we would be happy to come again!

A super nice place on the water. The outdoor seating was very nice, you can see sunset and at night a beautiful starry sky. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a nice shower. At night it is cold and there are a lot of spiders, but that's not that crazy. All in all had a very nice weekend here!

We had rented this log cabin last minute to get a breath of fresh air in Friesland. Don't expect luxury, but the log cabin has everything you need for a quiet holiday on the Frisian Lakes. Kitchen, cooking utensils, chairs and seats to sit outside. The beds are fine. Close to the water, so swimming in the morning before breakfast is no problem. The pitch itself is spacious. We were able to use a supboard (nice experience, never done before), cycling (not used, we were more on and in the water) and there was much more to use (yoga mats, golf set,...). The rubber boat with BB motor that we also put together (was probably not used for a long time, instructions were provided, but was a bit of a puzzle with the bottom plates) and made a few nice trips on the Fluessen. Communication with Thijs was prime, responds quickly to questions. All in all had a wonderful 5-day vacation - where the beautiful weather also played a big role.

We had a wonderful holiday week here. Location was perfect. In no time you can walk to the small Frisian city of Sloten and explore the wonderful region by boat. The Check Inn was smooth and we got a detailed instruction for the boat right from Thorsten. The chalet corresponds exactly to the description and is cozy. Our kids and the dog enjoyed the meadow next to the cabin to play ball. We especially thank Thorsten for the great excursion ideas by boat. A truly helpful, friendly and always available host. Had a very nice stay in Jorge's wooden cottage. Nice beds, cute cottage, everything is fine, close to the beach. We saw a beautiful sunset on the beach. Tip: go to Hindeloopen to eat. Super nice place, like you're going back in time. Thank you!
