Hugely charming wooden house located on 5000 m2 of undisturbed surroundings overlooking a scenic and protected area with heathland. Occasionally, a deer or two will stop by. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

Townhouse in the middle of Ribe, 100 meters to the Cathedral. The home has 2 good bedrooms, kitchen with dining area, large cozy living room. You can park on the street close to the house for two hours free of charge between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Otherwise, there is free parking around the clock about a five-minute walk from the house

The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

In addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. Our sauna is brand new from autumn 2023. The thatched roof vacation home is from the 16th century, with a 3000 square meter property. This house has been renovated and equipped with complete underfloor heating. The heater is a modern eco-friendly air-heat pump. There are 6 beds available plus 2 mattresses No bed linens and towels are provided.
