Vacation rentals with a kayak in Suchitepéquez Department

Our stay was incredible. I took my entire family Of 16+…. The views are breathtaking, with so many fun activities without even leaving the house. The hospitality was also a great bonus! Pedro, the house guardian is very attentive. Highly recommend booking Juliana for your breakfast needs, she was also great! 😊 Carlos, is great as far as communication goes, very patient and friendly. We all gave this place a 10/10 We’ll definitely be back soon! Ps…there are some massive stairs down to the pool/ lake. The walk down is easy but the walk up is some work! Be ready for some good cardio

The apartment was as advertised and John was easy to contact. Very friendly and accommodating about the check-in time at the accommodation. It was perfect.

The best lake view of all the houses I've visited in Sololá!!.. Mikaela and José were super attentive to help with everything... My children and nephews were delighted with the terraces and dock of the house, we'll definitely be back, thanks Monica

Although my stay was short, I loved the house. A beautiful view, a very nice garden and many swallows. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake and dining at the restaurant.

The beds are very comfortable, we had a lovely stay here in San Pedro thanks to Borris !

Great peaceful location just outside of Santiago. The lodgings are on the other side of the road from the lake, but the resort has a lake front day use area right across from the lodging with complimentary canoes, kayaks, swimming pool, hot tub and beach chairs. A great place to relax between volcano hikes.

The place is beautiful, it has very nice environments, and it is a place to disconnect and be with family. A very quiet place and I definitely recommend it for large groups. Mr. Nixon, his daughters and other staff are very friendly and helpful people. It exceeds expectations a lot.

Lucho was very responsive and very helpful ! The manager Luis didn’t speak English but he did everything he could to assist !!

We loved our stay at Gonna’s cute cottage. It was quaint, well located, and loved the shared facilities on the edge of Lago Atitlan. Gonna was quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating, and we appreciated her transparency and generosity with check in / check out times.

Where do we begin? Juan Carlos' home in Cerro de Oro is magical. It's situated in a bay right on Lake Atitlan with incredible views every single day. It might honestly be the nicest place we've ever stayed in - all around exceptional. The house is two stories, living room & kitchen upstairs & beds downstairs. The grounds are spectacular - this family really thought of everything. They have a 2-person kayak which we took out every morning as well as a couple of paddle boards. There are 2 hammocks under the trees which we definitely relaxed in and then there's the hot tub. Oh, the hot tub. Words cannot describe the magic of this tub. It takes 2-3 hours to heat up so make sure to tell Tiburcio ahead of time and he'll get it all ready to go. We also spent the extra money and had Marina cook us all of our meals (for approx $10/day - it's coffee money) which helped us completely relax. The staff team were all wonderful and treated us like royalty including dogs Rocco & Negra!

Very nice place, well kept, attention to all details, everything we needed was there, pans, pots, cutlery, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer, soap, iron, etc baths where spotless, house inside/outside well maintained and kept, gardens,walkways, is a beautiful property, the walk to the pier is nice and relaxing, they provided us with Kayaks and life vest. Cesar was very helpfully. I would recommend this pkace 100%

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..

Very clean, lots of amenities and access to the lake is the best within that particular Pueblo. Restaurant on premise made it super easy to get food, staff is all extremely nice

Stunning property with an even better view. Ample space, felt so private, but still easily walkable to Santiago and tons of transport options. Nobody wanted to leave the house while we were there though because it was so nice. The private dock was a great swim and relax spot, and a couple kayaks too. Kitchen has all the basics for a big group, although no food at all and had to buy extra drinking water too. More than one key would have been helpful. But it was amazing, a beautiful place that was so perfect for us and I’d love to be able to go again. Happy new year

The house is very nice and the place is just as it appears in the photos. Don Julio welcomed us into the house. there is for kayaking fun, a small field to play badminton and volleyball. My friends and I had a great time at this place. Thank you very much

Angels place was an amazing find! If you are looking for a place that is surrounded by greenery and a beautiful view this is your place to stay. The staff is very friendly and gives great suggestions with things to do as well as transportation services. Would definitely stay here again 😊

We felt comfortable at this place. On the way we stopped at a place to eat lunch per Carolina’s recommendation and it was really good. There are people walking by, and some dogs but it is very peaceful and tranquil. It’s a beautiful place to get away and be isolated. Manuel, the caretaker was very helpful and kind.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

We had an excellent stay in the SKY cabin, super comfortable, cozy and equipped. Everything was tidy and clean. The house really exceeded our expectations. We received a very friendly treatment from you, Luli and his brother. Thank you for welcoming us, we hope to be able to return soon. 🙌🏼 The only comment would be that we felt the access to the lake a little complicated. There is no "comfortable space" to be able to leave one of your belongings and get into the Lake, as well as a dock for a boat to arrive, outside of that everything is perfect ❤️

It is a very nice place with a spectacular view and quite quiet, in particular we really liked having access to the lake; Mr. Martin was very friendly and helpful. The place is comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It is important to consider that some beds are in an annex to the main room. The location is far from the towns, so it is advisable to have a vehicle, even to get to the nearest pier.

We had a wonderful stay at Carolina’s place! It is a beautiful location, a short tuk tuk ride or walk from the center of Santiago Atitlan, with a dock right on the water. The pool, jacuzzi, temazcal, and private soaking tub (a few steps from the house) were all amazing! We loved the rustic feel of the house, and our 2 kids enjoyed the loft with twin bed and a hammock bed (so fun!). Carolina gave lots of helpful recommendations of things to do, restaurants, contacts, and more. We especially enjoyed the restaurant on-site, with delicious dinners, breakfast, and desserts that you can order there or take to go to the house. We originally booked to stay for 2 nights but ended up adding another night and it was totally worth it! One of our favorite spots to stay on Lake Atitlan so far!
