Teri’s condo is fabulous! Sparkling clean; beautifully appointed. She had incredibly helpful, friendly texts and emails. The condo unit was on the end; was nice and quiet, with a pretty view of lawn and garden. The pool and Hotub were great! We would happily stay again!! Thank you Teri!

What an amazing place! Wonderful location and the home has everything you need. We saw Mt Baker from the deck and lots of wildlife. Very cozy and practical, perfect for our trip with the family

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The pictures don’t capture how nice it is. Very clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. We appreciated Chris’s kindness and hospitality.

The place is small and perfectly appointed. Literally everything you need from Queen sized bed to full kitchen to washer and dryer to large fridge and freezer. The outdoor deck (with BBQ) was perfect place for coffee in the morning and evening wine. If you like birds and birding you will find the home perfectly nestled into the trees that are home to many species from Woodpeckers to Nuthatches. We walked to and from all the restaurants in Eastsound everyday making the location perfect for exploring the entire island.

We've been staying at Julie's and Peter's place/s for close to 15 years now. They are unsurpassed in the quality of attention to detail, added amenities, and communication when it comes to vacation homes. We woke up this morning and I said, "They did it again. We walk in, we settle, and we feel like home." We don't ever feel this comfortable anywhere else, and frankly, don't want to return home. My husband thought about going out to buy a kite, and I said, "I bet there's one here." There were two! Plus, the West Beach walks with the views in every direction at this location are something else. Thank you for sharing your magic, Julie and Peter - our kids have practically grown up vacationing on Whidbey thanks to you.

We met our kids there for my mother's 100th birthday celebration in Lynden. It was a lovely home with great amenities and beautiful views of the bay and surrounding landscapes! Everything was neat & clean and the master bed was quite comfy!! We loved our time there and would really like to try it again when the weather is nicer. We did get some nice breaks in the rain now and then. Lovely decor and homey feeling. Highly recommend! Thanks for the hospitality! Cindi P.S. A suggestion: With 6 guests, the fold out couch could stand a much better mattress, or be replaced by a queen bed or two twin daybeds. Always someone in the crowd that is at the bottom of pecking order that gets the uncomfortable bed. :(

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Lynna and Dennis’s cottage was the single best airbnb experience we’ve had. The space is beautiful and cozy, and our hosts were infinitely kind and welcoming. There is so much to do on this property—it was a true “choose your own adventure” experience. It seemed like every day we discovered a new nook or cranny that Lynna and Dennis have put there to surprise and delight guests. We kayaked, explored the tide pools, lit the wood stove when it got chilly out, and had an all around wonderful time. Their recommendations for things to try around the island were spot on. (Check out the whale watch they suggest—we had a blast, and learned a lot about the region!) There is so much more to be done and enjoyed on this property and on Orcas than we could fit into four days, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the chance to return soon!
