IDYLLIC doesn't even begin to cover the half of this accommodation! As the photos show, this refurbed schoolhouse is literally perched out on the hill overlooking the fjord. But it's the VIEW and the FEEL from INSIDE the house that is magical. SO peaceful, SO beautiful! We would recommend staying a minimum of 3 nights if possible. We stayed 3 nights and very much wished we had time in our schedule for 2 or 3 more nights there. Rønnaug's tour around her farm? Definitely do this! Very interesting, and she's a delight as a storyteller. She's a first rate host as well. Simply can't recommend this AirBnB enough -- one of our favorite stays ever! Mathilde’s place was superb and located in beautiful surroundings. Mathilde was amazing host, proactive, responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. Most of all very kind. Everything was perfect. Will definitely like to visit again!!!

It was the most amazing part of our trip. A beautiful well-furnished and equipped house, reflecting a great taste. The outdoor area was so comfortable and amazing with shaded parts where we had lovely evening by the fireplace. The view was spectacular, breathtaking. We were sad the Jacuzzi was not available for use. Another thing one of the bedrooms had no curtains to the side windows that affected our privacy. We definitely would love to come back.

We visited this beautiful place for the second time to celebrate Christmas together. This time there was less snow, so we did less cross-country skiing and discovered more of the immediate surroundings. How nice, with more snow it would have escaped us. On the old postal route, it's like being in a magical land. The cabin and the property were great again. Super cozy! Thanks for sharing this place.

We had an unforgettable stay at Steinar's, undoubtedly the most beautiful place we've stayed in. The view is simply indescribable, breathtaking! The house is perfect: extremely comfortable, impeccably clean and very well-equipped. Steinar is an absolutely adorable host, always available to check in and answer our questions with kindness. We really hope to be able to come back one day, as we enjoyed our stay. Once again, thank you for everything!

Our stay at The Opera Farm was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we had the best time seeing the lovely views, hiking near by and going out in the paddle boat on the lake. The house was cozy and quaint and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We decided to eat two of our meals at the hotel on the mountain above our house that is owned by the farm and it was the most amazing dinner and breakfast I have ever had! The chefs were fantastic and the food was unique and so flavorful in every way! Everything was perfectly cooked! The view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone who stays in this house to at least eat one meal at the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the beginning to end was so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to go back and stay here again sometime in the future!
