Heidi's property is absolutely stunning and exactly as expected from the listing. unfortunately the weather was extremely wet for the 2 days we were there. however the house was warm and comfortable (Heidi gave us an extra radiator) and we spent the time chilling out. a boat trip for fishing wasn't possible due to the weather but brage lent my husband his fishing equipment. unfortunately this wasn't successful!! the dogs were extremely sweet and friendly. there is good WiFi, no TV but plenty of games. this is a place of peace and natural beauty.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The surrounding nature is beautiful and calm and the cabin has everything needed to make the stay cozy and comfortable.

On a good summer day, you will have to search for a more idyllic place!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

Egil’s home was a beautiful and comfortable haven in the middle of the most stunning scenery my family and I have ever seen. Waking up to that breathtaking view each day was really special. In spite of the constantly changing weather on the fjord in May, we were still able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub at the end of a day hiking. Egil provided us with so much good information and was always available to answer questions. He went out of his way to make a reservation for us at Christian Gaard for dinner, which was another unforgettable experience. We highly recommend doing this. Thanks so much Egil for everything. , We would love to return someday!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. Fantastic location, we had the opportunity to swim from the jetty and sunbathe. It was a short distance to Rosendal. We will definitely be returning to this place. Thank you so much for us.

This place was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, and the host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. Honestly, one of the best stays I’ve ever had on Airbnb. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

It does not have easy access because you have to walk from the parking, but the instructions were very clear with photos of everything. It was so easy to access like this. Everything is clean and complies with everything it advertises. Responds quickly. Beautiful place!

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Thank you so much!!

Great tiny house, in a beautiful colorful neighborhood of Bergen.

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

Beautiful 2-story apartment, with everything you need: bathroom, washing machine, 2 separate bedrooms, small kitchen with 2 hobs and a combi microwave. Beautiful view of the lake and parking on private property. The apartment complex has an elevator, but it is out of service. So, be aware that you have to walk up stairs. Grete herself responded very quickly and proactively to our messages. Nice host to communicate.

We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

A great place to stay and a great host =) we had a wonderful week in the house, and even if the weather didn't always cooperate, we were able to enjoy the time. One of the most beautiful views we have ever had in an AirBnB. Lovely welcoming packet with great information and hiking suggestions. Cabin is very compact, beds fill the rooms but exactly as explained otherwise. The hosts were magnificent and allowed our sons to go fishing. The views from the deck are breathtaking. Wish we had stayed longer! Would stay here again and would recommend the property to others.

Arne's place has the most beautiful views of the ocean and that alone makes it worth every penny! My family and I made so many precious memories.And even with such a gorgeous ocean view it is still very conveniently located near a big Kiwi supermarket. House is very cozy and well equipped in every way. 2 sets of BBQ pits, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. I will definitely recommend staying at Arne's house if you are in Bergen, to me and my family his house was the highlight of our holiday in Bergen.

This place was so lovely. The balcony and views of the fjords and mountains was fantastic. Totally as pictured great communication and easy check in. Comfy furniture and beds. Quiet walkable area w a very good restaurant called Malin-we went twice. We utilized the parking space and charger. We definitely would stay here again. Thank you!

Spent 4 nights at the cottage after a hectic / wonderful 10 days traveling from Stockholm via the fjords to Bergen. Siri was a wonderful host and it was the perfect relaxing way to end to our holiday before heading home to kids, work and life! The cottage was cozy, charming and had everything we needed, but what really stood out was its location nestled right on the waters edge surrounded by nature. Would thoroughly recommend the cottage to couples, families and close friends that want to spend a few days enjoying the peaceful environment. Can't wait to visit one day again.
