House vacation rentals in Stroud

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We enjoyed our stay at Jan's house in Someford Keynes. The rooftop entertaining space was a particular favourite of our group. For future travels, id note the following: * The ammenties in the holiday park are very busy and require significant prior planning. Unfortunately, our group were not able to swim as all of the slots were taken, and all spa appointments were booked weeks in advance. * There are a lot of children and families around the park. As such, there are a lot of rules for noise/entertainment (which is fair!), but just worth being aware of in case your group would prefer an adults-only experience. We enjoyed the space and appreciated the proactive communications from the host!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, kids loved the swimming pool. Facilities fantastic and an extremely comfortable stay for all.

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

We stayed here to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday as a family. The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s very clean and the interior suits the surroundings perfectly. The view of the water is stunning and so lovely to look at first thing in the morning! I would highly recommend. There’s also lots to do on site which is real bonus. We walked to the local pub, the Bakers Arms which we’d highly recommend for a short but pleasant walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

We had a wonderful stay at The Retreat. The entire experience was seamless, with excellent communication and a detailed guide from the host that made everything clear and easy for us. The property itself is absolutely beautiful—spacious, spotlessly clean, and offering outstanding views of the vineyards and nearby villages. We loved the peaceful walks around the area, and the nearby town was just a short and pleasant stroll away. The house was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed preparing our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We also admired the other charming properties within the Woodchester Valley Vineyard. Thank you Gail, Isabella, and Hannah for your wonderful hospitality. We will certainly be visiting again and will highly recommend The Retreat and other Woodchester Valley accommodations to our friends.

Rebecca was a wonderful host, responds quickly to any messages and lots of lovely touches inside on arrival. Rebecca was very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The location is stunning and has easy access via car to lots of things in the area. It looks exactly like the pictures and is wonderful to sit out with the horses or see the stars at night. Amenities are all provided and there is helpful list inside with useful instructions and ideas for pubs/walks/attractions. Would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful stay to explore the cotswolds :)

Beautiful home in an ideal if setting - look forward to returning!

Great stay for a family of 4 - within reach by car of great places in Cotswolds. Megan's place was very peaceful with a perfect layout for keeping kids at one end of the house vs. parents at other end!! Worth saying that it's a hilly area so those less able to walk or with little ones would probably be advised to go around in the car, even into Stroud town centre as its a steep walk back. All in all a perfect spot to enjoy Stroud and surrounds from.

We had a fantastic stay at Joanne’s! The house was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. There was so much for our child to enjoy – the trampoline, swing, and a great selection of board games kept them busy and happy. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended – and Joanne was such a kind and thoughtful host!

Khirsty was an outstanding host—warm, responsive, and full of thoughtful touches, even messaging us while travelling back from New York. She helped us plan a surprise for my husband’s 50th that completely wowed us. The cottage is exquisite—styled with incredible taste and nestled beside a charming church in a magical location. It’s one of the most beautifully designed places we’ve stayed in. Our American guest, no stranger to luxury, was utterly enchanted—we genuinely worried she might not want to leave! Khirsty also recommended fantastic local spots which made our stay even more special. From the first message to the final goodbye, she helped make this a truly memorable weekend. Thank you for being such an important part of a milestone celebration—we can’t wait to return.

A magical cottage! We had a great long weekend here - the house uas beautiful surroundings and very comfortable rooms. We also had a fantastic roast at a walking distance pub in the village. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful place to stay in Cirencester and highly recommended to all!

What a fantastic stay! In the heart of the Cotswolds, but also right in the center of the village where you can walk to the shops, cafes and pub. The house itself was beautiful, with a space between the two buildings to have dinner with the family. Tons of green space for the kids to run around and play. The building felt like it had history, but updated with modern kitchen and amenities. Couldn't recommend this stay enough for the whole family!

Great house to stay in and great host. Cameron, from start to finish would chime in with recommendations or offer help if needed and always answered any question very speedily. The house is steeped in history and in a lovely surrounding. Loved all the history attached to the house, the pristine clean house and the mix between old and modern in the house. I would definitely recommend this house to someone else looking to stay in the local area. Very happy with the stay !

We really enjoyed your cottage and we’re very appreciative of all the attentive details. We liked our welcome card for instance. The only problem was our age! We found the bed difficult but we knew what to expect from the photo. We never really worked out the heating or the telly but that is more our fault than yours. It is a very sweet place to come to with magnificent views. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay – the place was truly peaceful and exactly as described. It’s a massive house with stunning views from every window and three beautifully layered gardens. The kids absolutely loved it! One thing to be aware of is the parking – the house can comfortably accommodate one large car (like an SUV), but space around the property is limited. The nearest additional parking is by the church, and turning a large vehicle can be tricky due to the narrow road and nearby residents’ parking. Overall, it’s a fantastic property and definitely worth the visit – just plan your parking in advance if you’re bringing more than one vehicle.

We came to Tetbury for a weekend of antique shopping and absolutely loved how convenient the location was. It made getting around to everything we wanted to see so easy. The house itself was a dream. As soon as we walked in, we were completely smitten with the kitchen design, which was beautifully done and so welcoming. We felt cozy, comfortable, and completely at home. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip!

A beautiful place in a beautiful location. We had 3 generations staying and we all loved it. The property and the garden is absolutely beautiful and we couldn't fault it. The views are stunning and plenty of areas to sit outside, it's so quiet and peaceful. There is a pub a few minutes walk away and a short walk to the centre with shops, bars and restaurants. The host was brilliant and extremely helpful.
