A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding hills and valleys. The famous Cotswold Way is on our doorstep and you can walk or hike from here or potter in the village where there are great cafes and pubs. Stroud with its Farmer’s market and The Woolpack at Slad are nearby as is Cheltenham for the races and Jazz, Literary and Music Festivals.

Just a few miles from J13 of the M5, we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to open common land and ancient woodland, where mountains bikers, runners walkers and horse riders can all enjoy outdoor activities. The famous Cotswold Way runs close to the property.

The Garden Studio Graywalls Stroud

5 mins walk from Stroud train station, the wood clad Garden Studio is airy and modern and surrounded by green. It overlooks our garden, and apart from the trains (only 2 an hour) it’s peaceful but also so close to the pretty hilly town of Stroud. The bustling farmers market on a Saturday is a great fun and the commons and walks are spectacular. There is parking on our drive. To get to the studio walk down the gravel pathway past our front door. The key hold is by the studio door.

Welcome to our family owned Edwardian era house situated in Painswick. Renovated with hosting in mind, we'll have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Situated just off the Cotswold Way national trail, it's the perfect pit-stop for keen walkers (or runners!). If sight seeing is more your thing, the popular 18th Century Rococo Garden is just a 5 minute walk away. Ideally located for travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester all within a 20 min drive.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut in The Cotswolds

Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed, and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.
