The view from the property was the highlight of our trip. we spent all our time in the egg chairs watching the world go by wonderful location and the hot tub was warmed up for when we got there which was a welcomed treat after our long drive

Had a lovely birthday weekend away at Humbug Barn! Amanda was a wonderful host—so welcoming and helpful. The barn itself was beautiful and perfectly located near the Forest of Dean. The views from the hot tub were absolutely stunning. I’d definitely recommend it! xx

Beautiful property, comfortable, clean, welcoming, had everything we needed, good size, lovely bathrooms. Simon and Amy were perfect hosts, friendly and keen to help. We loved The Hub shop and cafe, fascinating and beautiful local area. We particularly enjoyed the tithe barn. We’ll be back.

Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

We had a lovely stay at Meng’s place. The garden was perfect, we enjoyed especially having breakfast looking down the valley. The place was immaculate, very well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Our dog loved it too. St Anthony’s well is just a few steps, couldn’t have asked for a better location. Meng’s hospitality was superb. We will definitely be back!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Ollivia’s cottage to celebrate our anniversary. Ollivia was very welcoming and accommodating. This is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway and would highly recommend.

My friends and I went to stay in Sam's place for my birthday! It was a beautiful cottage with the most beautiful views! It's extremely central in Painswick and right on top of gorgeous walks. Every single room was lovely and we had a very comfortable sleep. Sam was extremely helpful in providing recommendations (definitely go to the Woolpack in Slad!). All in all we had the most perfect stay and I can't wait to book and stay again! Thank you Sam!

We had a wonderful stay at Hannah’s - the cottage was absolutely beautiful! It was so stylish, clean and comfortable and we loved the thoughtful touches throughout for our little one and my Mum’s dog! It really felt like a luxurious home from home and the cottage had everything we needed. Hannah has clearly put a lot of thought into creating a homely space for guests. Hannah was a lovely and very responsive host- nothing felt like too much trouble. She had lots of great recommendations for the local area and was really friendly in all communications. We would 100% book again if in the area.

Martyn and Rosemary are great hosts, the cottage is so much nicer than the photos and the surrounding is just beautiful. Very easy to explore Cotswold and great villages nearby. Would love to come back again.

We had a great stay at Sara's place. Such a lovely space to have as a base for a couple of days and worked perfectly for us. Very relaxing environment and comfortable bed. Sara was very friendly and helpful, especially making sure we had a few essentials in the kitchen before we arrived so we were all set for our first breakfast. Would very happily stay again and recommend to others.

We had a lovely few days in this gorgeous, cosy lodge! It's just as pretty as it looks in the pictures, and was the perfect base to relax in after exploring the surrounding area.

Fantastic stay at the milk parlour. Incredible location, surrounded by the horses and the goats! Very quiet and peaceful. Super rustic and authentic interior, highly recommend!

Such a cute cottage in a really quiet area- away from the touristy towns but still close enough to drive all over. Beautiful walking paths. Very clean cottage and super helpful host- had great breakfast recs. Definitely recommend if you want to experience the countryside.

We loved our stay at Helen's place, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Lots of walks right out the door and lovely views from the house. The house had everything we needed and was really well set up for our long weekend away. We would highly recommend!

The Barn is absolutely stunning, as shown in the pictures. Fully equipped with absolutely everything you need and more, top of the range equipment, the furniture, furnishings, bathroom and the gorgeous bedroom, with its amazing bed!!! Elana & Bernard are really lovely hosts and their attention to detail and eye for quality is fantastic. We really didn’t want to leave and would love to return again in the future!

Vanessa is the perfect host! She was quick to respond, provided very clear instructions in advance, along with a very helpful guide inside the property. The cottage is beautifully presented and is everything you could hope for in a traditional Cotswold terraced cottage. The kitchen is very modern with all mod cons and is very tastefully done, as is the shower room. It is superbly equipped with everything you can think of and the log burner would have been a delight to have on had it been winter when we stayed. Two friends and I had a truly wonderful stay there with easy access to Painswick centre, the local shop, pubs and restaurants etc. Thank you

What’s left to be said that hasn’t already been mentioned. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s over the past many years. This is simply the best we’ve ever stayed at! It’s beautiful and the location is lovely. Doreen has thought of everything. It exceeded our expectations and even our hopes in every way. As I told Doreen, we are in love with her place. I hope we return again and often.

Becca and Sam were lovely hosts and have a beautiful home. Location was great in terms of walking distance to a pub, coffee shops etc. Also you are a 6min drive to Painswick Beacon viewpoint which is gorgeous on a clear day.
