our stay at Natalie’s place was absolutely wonderful. We were a family of 8 and two dogs. We really loved how dog friendly the yard and house was. This place is also family friendly with many games and books for kids. The house was clean, had everything you need to cook meals. We cooked all of our meals and Natalie’s kitchen made this so easy. We used the wrap around deck to sit and drink coffee when the snow stopped. overall the house was perfect.

We love this place. It’s a very clean and comfortable. It’s like a home away from home! The owner is exceptionally friendly and will respond to your messages very quickly. We’ve been here twice now and loved it even more the second time. Came up to Twain Harte to play in the snow and we were not disappointed! The roads in the vicinity were plowed and maintained during the snow fall. The home heating and gas stove work great to keep you warm. The TV is massive and the internet is fast. Again, we love this place and can’t wait to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the absolutely stunning home. The high ceilings, the old door knobs, the stained glass, the gas stove ugh it was just all amazing. Truly a beautiful stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms dark. The views from the main windows were awesome too. My son enjoyed being able to walk to the downtown area as much as he wanted. There were many paths to and from town. Plus you are at the top of a hill so a total butt buster (if you’re worried about those types of things). The kitchen has been updated and offers everything a kitchen needs to offer.

Had an excellent stay! The house was fully equipped. We got there tired from visiting big trees, made a wonderful dinner and got to relax and have family time. It was perfect. Definitely would stay again.

My Family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Batteate Cabin managed by Twain Harte Rentals, and I can't recommend them highly enough! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from Twain Harte Lake and within easy driving distance to Leland Snowplay, Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort, and other beautiful areas. The Batteate Cabin itself was fully furnished and felt incredibly cozy—exactly what you want for a mountain getaway. The amenities were fantastic, featuring three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an additional half bathroom, a hot tub, and a playroom area, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and all the appliances worked perfectly. The management team at Twain Harte Rentals was exceptional; they were available 24/7 and responded promptly to any questions we had. If you're looking for a vacation rental in the scenic Sierra mountains, Batteate Cabin is definitely the way to go. We recommend checking them out if you're planning.

Adorable house in a peaceful neighborhood - my family of four (including 11 and 13 year olds) had a wonderful stay. Comfortable and thoughtfully furnished - had everything we needed and then some. We borrowed the house's sleds to play in the snow, and look forward to coming back in the summer, so we can properly enjoy the spacious and well-equipped backyard. Instructions from Rhonda made everything easy - especially the recommendation to screen shot the key code instrux before heading out of AT&T range. Make sure to do that!

Great place in private area. Clean and spacious with lots of games to enjoy. Quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the weekend.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It’s rustic and charming. We were happy not to have any snow, but we were able to easily travel up to Bear Valley for skiing and sledding. There are lots of nearby amenities and just a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The cabin was very warm and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed watching the DVDs and playing with the games. The beds are also super comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at!

Very comfortable and quiet property. We booked this property giving Kevin and Teresa only an hour’s notice. They were very pleasant and made sure everything was set for us. Kevin met us and showed us around. The apartment was very warm and cozy. We would highly recommend!!

This rental studio is located on a great, gorgeousproperty. it wss very clean and a nice get away. advertised just as it is- it's a place i plan on going back to or use the same rental agency for sure.

Sherry was an excellent host! The place was exactly what we were looking for and clean. Every day we were able to see lots of wildlife- deer, turkeys and chickens! We had such as good time, especially being able to drive to Yosemite and see downtown Sonora.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy spot in Mi-Wuk Village! The highlight was definitely experiencing snowfall for the first time—it made the trip amazing. The place itself was spotless, and the bed and blankets were incredibly soft and comfortable. Even without a full kitchen, the air fryer and microwave were more than enough for us to warm up our meals. One of the nicest surprises was the thoughtful touches—the host provided snacks, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and more, which made us feel right at home. On top of that, they were super accommodating and even let us borrow their sleds to go sledding, which was so much fun! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Thomson’s place was rustic but exactly what was described and expected. We had one of the nicest stay in recent days. Kitchen was fully functional. Perfect place for a weekend stay. Only one scope of improvement- masters attached bath’s tap needs to be repaired as continuously water is coming out and that too with a noise. This was restricted to 4 people but I think with all the big sofas, it can accommodate 6-8 people. I will surely recommend and comeback

Great location right near the heart of Murphys. On a second floor over some shops and a nice restaurant. Small balcony from the bedroom has a nice view down Main Street. Very cozy and large. It’s in an older building, which shows in a couple things like the heater being a bit loud, but all in all very nice.

One of the best Airbnb’s for the price and proximity to the Bay Area for a large group. Host was super responsive and accommodating. House is in a private complex and is large, is perched on a small incline, has sleeping rooms slightly elevated or below the living-dining-kitchen area giving privacy and quiet while kids run around. Overall, layout is good for large groups. Has a pool table and a ping pong table which was a plus.

We absolutely LOVED this place & will definitely book again. Directions were right on point. The views were amazing, mother nature surrounded us and it was so relaxing. Comfy beds & the kitchen views made cooking and spending time in the kitchen all that much more fun. We brought our cornhole set up but Henry's 49er cornhole boards were in the back! Had coffee out in the back every morning to catch the beautiful sunrise over the lake and mountains. Can't say enough great things about this place. Grazie, grazie for sharing your beautiful home with us! Until our next visit...ciao ciao

Our two families had a great time. We drove to Iron mountain snow park one day which is less than an hour away. We hung out in downtown Jackson and Indian grinding rock state park and our kids had a blast. The property was beautiful and private and were able to walk around and enjoy nature. It’s close to the casino and everything you need but feels like you are in your own world at the same time. Eric was responsive , kind, and helpful. We hope to revisit and stay here again.

We had a great stay; the amenities were incredible and the hosts were very clear and kind. Would recommend!
