Vacation rentals with lake access in Stratford

Jess and Ron are a lovely couple and they made our stay so welcoming and relaxed. They were prompt, helpful and so kind. The property was beautifully kept and maintained indoors and outdoors. One of the best cottages with private lake view. The dock and fire pit were just perfect to enjoy day and night respectively. Hot tub was working anytime to take a dip and enjoy the scenery that it offers. Highly recommended for couples or groups of 4!

This is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed at ever, and we have done a fair amount of traveling both in North America and Europe. It was very private and relaxing which is what we needed for this trip. we liked the fact that there was next to no interference form the Owners. We had a great stay at Alfonso’s place. It was a little bit cold for our liking but as soon as I messaged Alfonso, the temperature was adjusted. Great little one bedroom apartment, exactly as described in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was very smooth because they provided very detailed instructions. It is a basement so you hear people walking above you but everyone was very respectful of the quiet hours so it wasn’t disruptive at all. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the Laurier University so the area itself is very quiet and residential which was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this location for an extended period and can see it being a great weekend or even weeklong lodging. Definitely a place for a couple or a solo traveler. It has a well stocked kitchen and a cozy feel. With old brick walls and wooden floors you feel the history. Up one staircase from ground level you look out on city hall while being close to restaurants and shops. The parking situation is walkable being two blocks away but make sure to drop off your bags before. Also, the shared pool is actually the YMCA by the Cooper Parking lot. Make sure to get a memento at the crystal shop below, buy a book at Fanfare books, get an early morning tea/coffee at The Ashborne Cafe, go for a hot yoga class at Modo Yoga, and book reservation for dinner at Elizabeth!

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

The location is central.. we were in town for a family emergency and appreciated the flexibility with the check in.. there is coffee right in the room and Tim Hortons also right across the street. Great unit, comfortable beds! Although we didn’t use the common areas, I checked them out and there are 2 outdoor saunas, wonderful lounge area and outdoor high top bar with bbqs.. Hope to be back sometime and be able to enjoy! Thx you so much! Host was very accommodating and very quick to answer communication!

We booked Brendan's place for a working weekend. It was very central with amenities close by, and local recommendations easily posted inside the building. The place had a modern eclectic vibe and oozed character, which provided lots of creative inspiration. It was easy to access, central to everything you could need (restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, etc.) and walkable to the riverfront path. Brendan was very quick to respond to the minor questions and issues that popped up.

Another lovely stay at the Juno Lofts. Brendan is a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back to this property or another of his locations! Thank you Brendan, Happy New Year!

Great restaurant downstairs with a friendly staff and wonderful food. Quiet and cozy room. Within walking distance of some great shops, restaurants, and small businesses. Excellent view of the river. All in all? Worth the price. We had an excellent stay.

Great spot in Fergus - walkable to everything, beautiful view of the River, clean and comfortable!
