Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

The Bullpen is situated in quiet open countryside one mile from Stranraer. The property has just recently been completed and was part of the original farm buildings. Private Hot Tub. It is all on one floor and has an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, super king size or twin bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. Close to golf courses and gardens. Also great for walking and cycling. Many attractions in the area include Logan Botanic Gardens, Wigtown Book Town and Mull of Galloway.
