There is a driveway all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Same driving distance to go to Pulpit Rock. Cozy cabin in scenic surroundings on Kvalvåg in Strand, Ryfylke. Short distance to the sea and jetty with fishing opportunities. Lots of great hiking trails in the area. Cozy garden living room access. Access to gas barbecue in spring and summer. TV living room in annex. It is a drive of about 25 minutes to Preikestolen parking. The nearest town is Jørpeland. It is about 20 minutes by car. Here you will find various food shops and restaurants. It is about 50 minutes by car to Stavanger.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.
