Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our wonderful cabin! Here, the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the nearby area and a short walk down to the sea where there is a small sandy beach and a jetty for fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. The same driving distance to take the trip to the Pulpit Rock. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

This house is perfect located on your way to the Pulpit Rock (4 km to the starting trek). Close to our other famous nature attractions along lysefjorden. Here is several other hikes in our near by mountains and spectacular nature and viewpoints. The house has good Wi-Fi based on fibre-optic cable. Jørpelandsholmen recreation area. There is a 2 km long trail around the island, play ground for children, swimming spots, Frisbee golf course and toilets.
