After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. A tranquil rural gem of a cottage. The Stables has all the character & charm you would expect from a Yorkshire Stone dwelling, but with all the warmth & mod cons of a luxurious quiet retreat. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
