Adorable place right on the river! We have stayed in Foutain City a few other times and this by far was our favorite place. Walkable to all the local spots. We will definitely book here again and would highly recommend to others!

Kasson and Dodge Center were my shared hometowns when I was growing up in the 1950s and 1960s. This was a trip from Texas to show my new wife where I grew up and to meet a bunch of my family for the first time. It was a wonderful visit, thanks in no small part to staying in Marlo's home. Marlo, your home was beyond our expectations. It's period decor and feel was very much like the home I grew up in, two and a half miles away, over fifty years ago. Unlike many Airbnb homes we have stayed in, this home was exactly as advertised. There were no disappointments at all. The home was spotlessly clean, exquisitely decorated and updated where needed, a wonderfully supplied kitchen with lots of good quality pots and pans, dishware, appliances, and etc. Most Airbnb homes are supplied with someone's thrown out stuff......not Marlo's. We would highly recommend Marlo's home if it is in your itinerary's locale. It definitely feels like home. Great job Marlo and Maggie! Thank you!

We had a fabulous stay! From booking until we checked out! Holly was very accommodating and sent a list of activities we could do with our kids while my husband was in town for a business trip! The house is secluded and very peaceful! However, close to anywhere we wanted to go! Plenty of room in the driveway for our kids to ride scooters and play! We had a fabulous trip and wonderful stay!

Awesome place to stay! Loved being tucked back so it doesn’t feel like you’re right in town. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and plenty of room.

We stayed less than 24 hours as my surgery was scheduled early. The house served our needs very well. Didn’t use the laundry or cook due to fasting, but the kitchen facilities and appliances were topknotch. Many nice artistic touches. Lots of rules to follow, which made me a little nervous. All in all, a very nice overnight.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

The home was definitely a home away from home. Conveniently located quick on & off the freeway and a short distance to our dog event. Beds were very comfy and plenty of space to air our dogs out. Thank you for sharing your home.

While the house is showing its age and needing some updates, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided thus it received my 5 star rating. It is not a 5 star property but I don’t downgrade properties if I have a comfortable stay. Thank you

This apartment was so comfortable and we felt right at home! The furnishings were very nice and the beds were comfortable. Sharon and Ken were on site and super friendly! I highly recommend this apartment and would stay again!

We had a great stay! The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to the Mayo Clinic, which made everything very convenient. Terri and Brett were great communicators and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone needing close access to the Clinic.

Cute little place! Loved it! Had all that we needed for a week stay! Clean sheets and a towels, clean all around! Water pressure was amazing and the water got hot fast (loved that) Fire alarms work! Definitely tested those out while making one of our dinners 😳so you’ll be safe! 😂

We really enjoyed our stay at Ziehr House. It was easy to find, there was plenty of street parking and the house itself was fantastic. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Communication was clear and timely and there was a guide in the house that had lots of information. It's in a great location close to Downtown, which was walkable, and everything else was within a 10-15 minute drive. We were over for a family wedding and the house was perfect for our needs. We would definitely recommend this house and would book here again.

It is rare to find a quaint and cozy place to stay like the Nordic Nook. I love antiques, so the original hardwood floors, plaster walls, antique living room ceiling light were delightful. The bathroom and kitchen were remodeled, yet fit perfectly into the charm of the house. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable with lovely linens. Plenty of reading material and places they recommended to see. Their communication was above average, which we appreciated.

We’ve been taking long weekend vacations to Red Wing this time of year for many years and found Stephanie’s place for the first time last year. We’re very happy that we could stay here again this year! It’s within walking distance of historic downtown Red Wing, near many shops, restaurants, historic sites and beautiful scenery. We’ve enjoyed staying at Stephanie’s Apt. twice (so far) and like being in a small town neighborhood instead of a hotel/motel on the main strip. We also wander around being 'tourist's' the whole time and it's a relaxing place to put up your feet at the end of each day!

It was a nice relaxing space! Enjoyed the short visit. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the sounds of summer.

Location, location, location. Quick, easy walk to the Mississippi River's edge and to Slippery's, a nice place to eat right on the river.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! We visited as a family and had an amazing time. The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown with stunning views of the town. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous—every detail was so thoughtfully designed and beautifully styled. It truly felt like a home away from home. The glam touches throughout make it an ideal spot for a girls' weekend or bachelorette party. I wasn’t even planning to get ready in the mornings, but the chic vanity area was too fun to resist! Megan (the host) was incredible—super responsive, helpful, and kind, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend it. Can’t wait to come back!

Great visit to a great little City. Pool was open and clean - which the kids loved. Felt nice and clean and newly remodeled.

Great stay! Everything was clean and the building was very quiet. Wabasha and the surrounding area was really fun to explore also!

We have been to Lake City several times as we have family there and we’re in town for a funeral. Great River Flats is relatively new so everything was clean and updated. Had all the supplies you would need. The only thing we found odd was that they provided paper towels and toilet paper but no tissues. Not a huge inconvenience but strange. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Clean, as advertised Airbnb. Everything in the apartment worked. Every thing in the game room worked. Wonderful, clean thoughtful designed apartment. Beautiful patio and game room.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the linen is of good quality. It is in the back of the building, facing the parking lot and away from street noise. Most importantly, it is about five minutes walk from the Mayo clinic and downtown restaurants. On the minus side: The kitchen sink is minuscule, equipped with a bathroom type faucet that makes it difficult to wash even dishes, let alone pans; the shared washer and dryer are often busy, because the cleaning crew uses them as well. That said, it was a good value overall.

We had a great stay with Jackie. We had easy walk to mayo clinic as well as many wonderful shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place and anyone staying here to check out the Old Rooster antique shop as well as Midwest vintage toys and the arcade all of which are basically right across the street.

Wonderful and relaxing stay! I left feeling refreshed and recharged. Highly recommend. Jeanne was a great host.
