Luxury 5* Lodge at Cameron House Loch Lomond

JaneRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was our first visit to Cameron House and we were not disappointed, the lodge was perfect for us and the resort had plenty of activities on offer (if you wanted to do them). We visited in August and there were various activities available for different age ranges. We had teenagers so they were interested in clay shooting, bubble football, private cinema, golf and although there was a cost for these it was not unreasonable. Plus there was the indoor pool, gym and range of fitness classes. Plus of course there is the great outdoors with fantastic scenery and Loch Lomond itself. The host was really helpful and answered all my questions really well. I would have no hesitation going back.
A spacious deck features a barbecue grill and a dining table surrounded by four chairs, set against a backdrop of lush trees and rolling hills. The mountain landscape provides a scenic view, inviting relaxation and outdoor dining.

2 bedroom lodge with stunning loch, mountain views

AndrewRating, 5 stars44 months ago
Lovely setting and a well-appointed, spotless lodge. A lot of thought has gone into the experience, from the welcome pack of tea bags and 'first day' essentials, to the decent, clean and powerful shower and even the kitchen, which had superb equipment and a decent selection of cooking utensils. There is even a selection of quality, sharp knives available, which never happens in self-catering accommodation - they are always blunt! A barbeque was available too - again, quality equipment. The Ptarmigan lodge has a lovely aspect and views from it were charming. Waking up to the sight of Ben More through your bedroom window is pretty awesome as is having a sun-downer on the terrace. All in all, a really pleasant stay - full marks!!

Such a good stay, very relaxing and peaceful location with great places to eat that are only a short drive away. My family including teens enjoyed the cabin very comfortable with WiFi and Netflix so they were kept entertained, we needed a quiet getaway in a place we love and that’s what we got, cozy and warm in snowy conditions with a great log burner, many thanks for looking after us.

Cosy Modern Nordic Lodge w/ Loch View + Log Burner

Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

The location is one in a million! The best spot across Loch lomond. At the foot of Ben lomond and many other hiking trails. Lots of activities just at the doorstep but away from the crowds! Fantastic stay with kids. Sarah's place is lovely, very comfortable and spacious. However, if you are allergic to pets hair be careful.

Ardmay Chalet Arrochar, stunning lochside location

We had such a great time at Doug’s place. We lucked out with the weather, which definitely helped, but the location of the chalet is stunning right by the loch. Doug and his daughter were so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed exploring the local area as well as taking the kayaks out on the lake and sitting back enjoying the view. Hoping we’ll be back!
