Monthly Rentals in Stilos

We spent two wonderful weeks in Stella's beautiful house in Macheri, which we highly recommend. With the coordinates she sent us, we easily reached the house by car from Chania. The house is in a secluded location about 7 km away from Kalives, a very nice place with a beautiful beach, shopping and restaurants, in the mountains. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful quiet atmosphere very much. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare small dishes. A washing machine is available, and the air conditioning worked smoothly. We didn't meet Stella in person, but the written communication via cell phone was perfect and felt very warm. She responded very quickly to questions. The surroundings are absolutely worth seeing, nice villages with cozy taverns and very friendly inhabitants. We will be back.

A nice, spacious and detached house with swimming pool in the front garden. Restaurants nearby and the sea are a 15-minute drive away. We had a nice week, with good care from Giannis.

We spent 10 days at the property with our 2 1/2 year old son. The house is well equipped and really offers everything to have a nice time in the area. The village is secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still offers 2 nice taverns and cafes; and in a few minutes' drive you are on the beach or in one of the numerous taverns in a neighboring village. Nektaria was a great host, always available. We'd love to come back!

Villa Vangelis was a truly wonderful place, so private and a wonderful place to stay. It's VERY rural, but well worth the drive up the hill, the views from the house are spectacular. We watch a few wonderful sunrises, as it faces east, and rose at a respectable 6.30 in early August! All in all we had a fantastic week and would definitely consider going back one day as so beautiful, and that view..... swimming in the private pool day and night... and the real feeling of luxury. Vangelis built the place himself and we can't congratulate him enough on a wonderful job! The event space across the valley wasn't in use during our stay, but is edited out of the photos, it's fine though and doesn't detract at all from the beauty of the area. There are some breathtaking roads locally leading up the mountains, and fab Taverna's in Aptera and other small towns.
