Places to stay in Stigler

Wonderful home, beautiful view, fabulous hosts, peaceful surroundings….running out of adjectives!!! I highly recommend this gorgeous vacation home! My family and I spent our Christmas vacation here and had a blast…the hosts had decorated the lodge with Christmas lights, a decorated tree, and lots of Christmas spirit throughout the house. Everything was perfect! Again, thank you for sharing your home with us!

WOW! This was a last minute overnight stop for us and we all wish we could have stayed longer! The owner was incredible…friendly, very communicative, quick responses, and so accommodating. The rental was impeccably clean and the beds were VERY comfortable (we even asked the owner for the info on the mattresses because we want to purchase them for our home). The location is perfect for families with young kiddos like ours and we loved being able to have our dog join us. It was a quiet little neighborhood and my husband had fun being able to go fishing right in the backyard. We didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous deck or hot tub, but we will definitely be back in the future!

The home is bigger than it looks in the photos. Huge dinner table easily fit our group of 10. Host was excellent and responded quickly. Nobody in our group had a single bad thing to say about this property or host!

This is such a charming little place. Rain and early spring cold snap prevented us from enjoying the outdoor space, but it looked as lovely as the combination modern/rustic decor inside. Highly recommended!

We really loved our stay at the Hummingbird Treehouse! The first day was super quiet and relaxing. I was a little surprised at how close the other treehouse on the property was. Given it isn’t in the pictures, I thought we’d be a little more secluded. The Bigfoot Treehouse is about 100 ft from the Hummingbird Treehouse with the latter’s patio facing the former. If you look in picture 13 and 30, you can see the ramp leading to the other treehouse. It is a really cool stay still, just be mindful of how close it is if you’re wanting a more private weekend.

A great place with an amazing view. Shauna was very detailed with the instructions and was very helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

The cottage was very well stocked with necessary items; hair dryer, bath wash, plenty of towels, hand soap at all the sinks, extra blankets (nice and fluffy soft), paper towels, dishes, even some goodies on the table for snacking. Plenty of room. Timothy was prompt in getting back to me when I texted and he made me feel like I could contact him any time. Will definately consider renting again on our next trip to McAlester.
