We loved staying here! Great property, well done in terms of how Sara remodeled the home. Sara honestly thinks of everything for you while away from home. Bathrooms stocked with showering products (shampoo, body wash, handsoap, Kleenex). Great linens in the bathroom and bedrooms. Think of a great show on HGTV when they’re staging it and designing the space. That’s the eye Sara put on this home. If you’re staying in wheeling, stay here, we definitely will be booking for future in-law visits!

Our book club retreat at this stunning historic mansion was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were transported to another era, surrounded by exquisite antiques and breathtaking historical wall murals. Every corner of the home invited conversation, whether we were gathered in the grand dining room for lively literary discussions, curled up in the cozy Parlour for late-night chats, or bustling together in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, where all hands eagerly prepped meals. The charm and character of this home made our retreat truly special, offering both inspiration and comfort. Each beautifully appointed room told a story, making it the perfect backdrop for our weekend of books, friendship, and shared meals. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities ensured we had everything we needed. If you're looking for an unforgettable getaway that blends history, elegance, and warmth, this mansion is an absolute dream! We can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. There were 14 of us and everyone had plenty of room. We look forward to coming back when we are in town visiting family again!

We live in Florida and have family spread out through Pennsylvania so we decided to rent an AirBnB over the holidays so that we could spend Christmas together. The space was perfect for our family. The adults each had their own bedrooms and the kids slept here and there as kids like to do. The hostess put up a Christmas tree which was such a thoughtful surprise for us. The kitchen was a great space with plenty of room to cook and eat. We had plenty of coffee (thank you!) and snacks in a cute display. The location was perfect for us because we were mainly interested in spending time together and not going anywhere. It was very peaceful. This would also be a great place to spend time with family in the summer since it has a pool, play set, trampoline and fire pit and plenty of run around room for kids. We may just come back to enjoy that part of it more in warmer weather. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This place is immaculate! They have everything and anything you could think of! It’s secluded enough to have privacy, but close enough to everything to order in takeout, or any thing you forgot to pack. We brought our toddler, and two dogs and it was perfect for everyone. This is probably the nicest air bnb I have ever stayed in, and I have frequented this app for years!

Gorgeous home with everything you need for an unforgettable stay! Beautiful view with picture perfect sunsets! Spacious bedrooms with beautiful finishes! 6th bedroom has a Murphy bed! Overall a fabulous stay!

Pam is an excellent host. She's very courteous, proactive, professional and attentive; kept the lines of communication open. The cottage is in a good location, with easy access to US 22. For future guests, the cottage is neat and tidy. Located in a quite, friendly neighborhood. If given a chance try out Ray's Pizza!!! Great pizza and subs. We'd love to book with Pam again, whenever we come back to the area. Michael and Victoria

Maria's place was just as described. Clean, neat, just right for our stay. It was easy to find, the directions provided took us right to the place. We would definitely choose Maria's place, if our travels bring us this way again.

Great Airbnb, responsive host, good location. If you’re lucky you’ll even see some wildlife in the backyard.

The place was as described. I like the keyless entrance and that I didn't have to carry a key with me all the time, one less thing to worry about it. The kitchen had all the basics and little more. I enjoyed the coffee and little treats that was a nice welcome after a long drive. We visit family at least once a year and definitely I'll stay again. Thanks Mike 😊

What a cozy little place - it was peaceful and quiet. The apartment was clean and spacious and such a great alternative to staying in a hotel. The kitchen was large and had everything I needed to feel at home during my business trip. I have stayed with Jodi before and I have to say - she is an amazing host. If I need anything, I can reach out to her and she is on it. I would highly recommend this spot or any other place that Jodi has available (I have stayed in her other rentals and they are fabulous, too)!

Absolutely beautiful and worth the money. Joel was an excellent host. Wonderful country getaway, yet close to attractions and shopping. Extremely pet friendly. I have nothing but positive things to say about Joel and his place. We will most definitely consider staying here again.

Another great weekend at The Guest House at Wild Sycamore Farm. Upon arrival we were greeted with the pre-ordered fresh baked goods that Megan prepares, farm fresh eggs, and of course, Kate’s famous protein balls! Her items are always a hit with my kids, and they don’t last very long! As always, the guest house was ready for us when we got there and was super clean! It was an absolutely beautiful weekend so we were able to spend a lot of time outside throwing the football and playing some outside games as there is a very large backyard. We fired up the grill and made steaks one night and utilized the fire pit the other night as my kids really enjoy outdoor cooking. Overall, our stay at Wild Sycamore Farm was an another unforgettable experience filled with laughter, delicious homemade treats, lots of memories made and the beauty of their peaceful countryside. Strongly recommend this Airbnb for people looking for a peaceful retreat or an option in more of a country setting.
