Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ohio

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was perfect! My fiance and I traveled here for a long weekend stay with our two lab mixes and this is one of the most pet friendly places we've ever stayed! Plenty of opportunity to explore the property, nearby parks and nature preserves. Under 10 minutes to downtown Logan for dinner but was overall very quiet and peaceful! Driveway is pretty steep, so keep in mind if you're deciding on what vehicle to take. I will be recommending this place to friends and family!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had such a wonderful experience, and Margot & John are the most lovely, welcoming & kind people. They were so generous with their time and space, and it was a blessing to get to know them! We learned so much about farm life, and were so grateful for the opportunity to be hands-on with the farm chores. My daughter loved gathering eggs, feeding the chickens & caring for the goats. We loved Tibby the barn cat and Barron the horse. It was so fun watching Jim the border collie (the friendliest dog ever) herd the sheep and goats. The cabin is perfect - cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location is so peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the pastures. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit & admiring the stars was the perfect way to end an evening. Also close to the popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Rockhouse, etc) & 5 minutes from Lake Hope which has beautiful trails. Perfect trip for families. We can’t wait to go back!

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

We absolutely love staying in your cabin. It’s our favorite one. We definitely plan on renting it quite a bit in the future. It’s just absolutely home away from home when we’re there. So peaceful and quiet and relaxing as well. Thank you for letting us stay and being wonderful host and helping us and answering, any question we may have. We’ll be back.

Pam was a lovely host, and was quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with various seasonings and pots and pans. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while sitting under the covered porch. The cabin was located nearby several Hocking Hills attractions. We hope to return sometime soon!

If you’re looking to unplug or work without distractions, this is a great cabin to reserve. Simply a beautiful region in Ohio and Valley View cabin offers solace and easy access to unique rural communities and of course nature. Wonderful host who cares about their property and their guests.

Scott was an excellent host. Responding quickly to emails and worked with us to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The home is welcoming and very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed while preparing meals. We will definitely stay here again!!

This home was exceptionally beautiful, clean and comfy. It was as described. It is on a busy street which gives easy access to the highways, but you don't hear the traffic noise once inside. It really was so peaceful and quite inside. I traveled with my pups and it was easy to take them for a walk up and down the street. One bedroom is slightly out of the main house space, my teenager loved that option and felt like he had his own space and that made the stay extra nice for him. Beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. It was a great stay and would stay here again on any future visits to the area.

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space for my family of five to spread out and relax. Jessi was super accommodating and helpful! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our stay was comfortable even with 2 families. It is close to necessary shopping, and less than 20 minutes from the Dayton Convention Center where we attended the TTD Homeschool Conference.

Filmon was very accommodating to our group. He checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything and left us to enjoy the home. Definitely will be rebooking with him!

Theresa is a great host. We had plenty of rooms for everyone with a nice big back yard for the kids and the dog. Theresa had lots of linens, nice washer and dryer, spacious basement, with a TV in almost every room. We felt right at home. Toledo is a great place to visit. We love the Imagination Station and the Zoo and found Tony Paco's to be delightful. We would defiantly visit again!

I needed a homey place to stay while visiting family that could also accommodate my dog. This was exactly what I was looking for. The neighborhood was quiet. There were parks and places nearby to explore, many with beautiful views of the lake. Manoj was polite, professional, and sent detailed messages so getting in and finding everything was easy. Would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Casita del sol was a wonderful place to stay. The home was impeccably clean and included many games and activities inside and out. Some of our favorites included air hockey, ping pong, bop it, jigsaw puzzles, connect 4, and jenga. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub to start the day, grabbing breakfast at local coffee shops, and walking the kayaks to the lake for a mid-day adventure. The hosts were thorough and thoughtful. They made sure the home had all the essentials, but also wonderful touches like extra toothbrushes, snacks, and homemade treats for humans and fur-babies! The guidebook and binder of manuals were organized and easy to follow. Tastefully placed notes throughout the home clearly communicated details like where to find extra trash bags. We are so glad we stayed at Casita del sol and hope to stay there again Im the future!

Our group gathers there 3-4 times a year. We love the comfortable and pleasant space, the beautiful setting, Wyatt's responsiveness to our needs, and the reasonable rates. Never negative concern. We'll be back!

Unbelievably clean! Great location!

This little cabin is perfect. I was able to cook with a well stocked kitchen. There is an abundance of towels and blankets. The house is charming and sweet. We were 7 minutes from WEC. This is a perfect place to stay if you’re horse showing.

Really enjoyed the cottage. We were kinda nervous about the hideaway bed but holy cow we were so comfortable. Amazing people throughout. These little areas are always the ones we come back to and Robert made this a awesome one. Thank you so much.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. Right away, we were impressed with the bonfire that was going when we arrived in the evening. When we stepped foot into the front door, it smelled wonderful. The next lovely and thoughtful surprise was the apple pie and whip cream left in the refrigerator with a nice note welcoming us and wishing our family a Happy Thanksgiving! The house was as pictured and had a unique and accommodating layout. The town was decorated so beautiful for the Holidays and had so much charm as well as many of the neighboring houses. Even though there were other houses nearby, we felt like it was very quiet and peaceful. The host, David, was very responsive with all of my questions beforehand and let us know if we needed anything, to just reach out to him. Everyone in our family said they would stay there again! Thank you for everything David!

We love Molly’s little cottage on their wonderful farm. It is so peaceful and the surrounding area is so beautiful and private. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a more well equipped kitchen….anything you could possibly need is provided! The hosts are so friendly and responsive, while also completely respecting your privacy. We definitely hope to stay again in the future. Truly one of our favorite airbnbs! =)

We were looking for a last minute long weekend escape, and were so lucky to have found this cottage!! It is just as described. Perfect for a quiet escape. Everything you need to relax. We originally thought we'd explore local restaurants, but were enjoying the solitude so much we just cooked all our meals at the cottage. Great wildlife watching as well.....watched osprey and eagle hunt the lake, and a little beaver on its daily routine...... so fun!! We also greatly appreciated being able to bring our dog. He seemed to love the tranquility as well, and the road around the lake is perfect for getting in those daily walks. We definitely plan to be back!! The only disappointment was having to leave.
