Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! We were impressed with how clean everything was, as well as all the kitchen amenities. We really enjoyed the grill, firepit, hot tub, and how close the cabin was to Hocking Hills State Park. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy nature!

This was by far one of our favorite stays. It was a perfect getaway that gives you a beautiful cabin, privacy, and comfort while offering a beautiful view that greets each morning, and throughout the day. I quickly made friends with the 3 beautiful cows, and really enjoyed feeding and petting them. Stella, Rosie and Posie are now my lifelong friends! After a long day of hiking, getting in the hot tub overlooking the trees was so relaxing. Additionally the shower was incredibly relaxing and spacious. Billie was extremely kind and helpful. Everything was so simple and perfect that we didn’t even need to reach out to the host with any questions or issues. Though I know if there was, he would be quick to be on top of it. We look forward to coming back to Waverly just to come stay here again! Definitely make sure to check this place out if you’re staying in the area. The Cabin was clean and very cozy. Lots of added touches we appreciated (including popcorn to pop). We enjoyed a variety of what Hocking Hills had to offer and the sunsets were beautiful. We hiked the cleared trail in the back of the property and sat on the swing and enjoyed the fire pit sitting area as well. No real issues with insects per other posts, but it's in the woods, so that was to be expected. The host even provided Off Bug repellent if needed. The hill was steep, but not an issue for our SUV and the owners warned you prior to your visit, which is appreciated. We wanted a nice private place and that's what Sodder Ridge offered. My husband and I are both educators and life is busy and this quiet time was desperately needed! So glad we went!

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

The cabin was clean, and well equipped with supplies. It is in a great location with plenty of privacy, but close enough to stores and restaurants. The scenery is beautiful! This is a great place for an escape from reality. I would recommend!

This was the absolute perfect little spring break get away! We saw so many birds and deer! The cabin itself was so homey and peaceful, we absolutely adored it! We will definently be returning! Dan and Julie were super friendly and replied to our questions very quickly! 5 ⭐️

3rd and extended stay at Jody's.... I just love the unassuming location and privacy and right at home feel when you walk in the door.... always exceptionally clean and i got to experience the Snow Globe effect of watching the Snow amongst the wall of windows .... for DoorDash users like myself, no issues in finding the location. And Jody yet again is responsive and caring and hospitable to any needs or concerns. When I'm in Ohio this is where I aim to stay..... youll appreciate all the amenity touches and comforts .... We loved our time at the Red Door Cabin. It was perfect for traveling with our family of 5, plus my parents. We spent the day hiking and loved playing games, hanging out on the dock, making smores, and watching movies in the evening. A great place to stay!

'Just Breathe' Cabin absolutely lives up to its name! It is clean, cozy, charming, relaxing, simple, and surrounded by peace, calm, and nature! Kris was an absolute gem who made the whole process incredibly easy, and was very flexible with us, when we needed it due to the very long distance we traveled. We definitely plan to be repeat guests, next time we are in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay. Every detail in the cottage makes it cozy and comfortable. Quiet and private location in the woods. It iwas nice to be so close to the lake.

Larry’s cabin was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer. It’s the perfect size and has all the amenities for a small family and then some. The kids both felt like they had their own space. Bonus was the canoe that allowed us to enjoy the lake even more, and the hot tub was clean and in great shape. I recommend this highly and we WILL be back!

Such a beautiful and enjoyable place to get away. We were able to go kayaking in the pond as they had one there. The paddle boat fit four people which was perfect for our little family. The kitchen was fully equipped. The gas fireplace had a remote, a nice touch at night. Two bedrooms each room having a queen size bed. The beds were super comfy. Closets were nice One bedroom had a fan above the bed with a remote to it which was very nice as we like to sleep with a fan. The bathroom was super clean, shower was very big in size. I love to take hot showers. The water was so relaxing. Amazing amount of fish in the massive pond. Bass were unbelievably huge in size. There was a goose sitting and the gander protecting them. Mallard ducks flew across the pond landing in and out. Beautiful sight to see. Turtles basking in the sun. Three fishing poles were provided, along with a tiny tackle box. Life jackets are provided. Extra blankets, towels, washclothes, and soaps. Hot tub was nice

Darci was a great host. Always proactive and very helpful. The place was a great little getaway for 2 people. We enjoyed the laid back nature of the cabin. We fished from the dock and from the rowboat. We even built a fire with the provided firewood. Much appreciate amenities.

Brett and his wife are awesome host. We had plenty of firewood, plenty of fishes to catch, plenty of outdoors activities that kept the children away from being zombies on their devices. Brett and wife was always available when we needed them. The kids played in the creek, having mud fights. we went fishing and the kids ate the fishes they caught. it was a quiet place we I was able to teach them to fish, tied knots, and build a fire. I highly recommend this place for any family who wishes to spend quality time with their family. God is truly good!

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts were great! Even made sure we had plenty of firewood so we could have a fire in the snow. Living room was perfect for playing games reading a book and afternoon naps. Cooking did pose a few challenges but we made it work. Love, love, loved the jacuzzi tub! Especially after coming in from a hike on the snowy nature trail. And the bed was quite comfortable. Great weekend getaway!

Our stay was great. Host was very responsive and the property was accurately described. It was a great location too for hikes as well as closeness to the town. The only thing missing was wine glasses but we were able to pick up some gems from a local antique mall. Overall a lush experience!

the cabin with the lofts was quite a great experience. we booked last minute and found it easy to get in touch with Mark, check in, and check out hassle free. i wish there were some more photos of the place, but generally we found it well stocked with items for a rustic off-grid cabin. there were 2 bathroom facilities - an outhouse and a port a potty. the loft sleeping area had 2 queen mattresses with pillows and blankets. the kitchen was stocked with 2 camping stoves. the whole place was heated by propane and we got so toasty, we turned it off at night. Dillon State Park is a 15m drive from the place, but it feels private and serene. save headlamps and some metal cutlery, the cabin had everything we needed! definitely want to return here some day.

The cabin was exactly as described. Perfectly adorable and exactly what we needed for a girls getaway in nature.
