Welcome to «The Old House» - a charming and cozy house located in the middle of the Fyksesund right by the Hardangerfjord. The house has an own garden with access to a great beach. You can also go out on the small Island by the beach and try to catch some fish. The location is close to the sea and provides its own calmness. It is a great starting point for walks and hiking. There you will find most of the groceries, cinema, beach, some Resturants, barber shop, etc. There is so many nice mountain hikes nearby. It's a small apartment, so if you are more than two, it can get cramped.

Wonderful accommodation with everything you can imagine. Anders is an extremely accommodating host who responds super quickly and has a solution for every request. We enjoyed the time very much. The only thing we didn't like so much was the pillows and duvets. They seem to be used more often and smelled a little. Thanks for a great stay and for letting us bring our two dogs!

A really dreamy place to stay. The apartment is located directly on the fjord. In good weather, you can go out by canoe or have your own evening of fishing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and an ideal place to relax after a long hike behind the house or on one of the other dozen beautiful routes in the area. We felt very welcome and would vacation here again at any time. Ola and Ruth were super helpful in finding us and even gave us a little tour of their farm. The neighbors were also friendly and welcomed us very much.
