Black Squirrel Barn, luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath barn

CRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our 2 night stay at Black Squirrel Barn. The location is beautiful and peaceful with 2 lovely country pubs within walking distance. It was the perfect base for our family of five to attend a wedding in Hitchin. The barn is very homely and comfortable and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the vegan options kindly provided for breakfast. We made use of the private patio and pagoda and also enjoyed the stunning shared gardens filled with wildlife (the black squirrel was a special treat) and the tennis court. Niki was a warm and welcoming host and very responsive to messages. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Amazing stay at the Railway Cabin - super peaceful and quiet. Perfect weekend getaway for some space. The cabin itself was spotless, and had everything needed. Will definitely look to stay again in the future.

Exclusive retreat on a private lake

Jacqueline MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The most perfect private relaxing accommodation. I run a very busy hotel and this was a perfect venue for my Husband and I to spend our wedding anniversary. Completely off the beaten track yet a nice walk to to great two pubs both with fabulous food offerings. Great to unwind and escape the stress of daily life and enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside, would highly recommend.

"Well House" is a separate guest room & own access

SaraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

Escape in contemporary bohemian loft style

AdamRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Lars is a great host and very responsive to messages and questions. The apartment and the location was perfect for what we needed. There are two flights of stairs to the apartment, stairs to the loft/bed area are very steep. I am over 6ft and found the sleeping area very restrictive. Worth the price and has easy access to Buntingford town, if you're visiting Milling Barn Wedding venue which we were it's only a short 5min drive.
