Very nice hosts. Felt like home. Always ready to help and give you tips. We were offered bikes for walking, but my daughter refused to ride. Under other circumstances, we would definitely take advantage of the offer because the places there are very beautiful. Despite the fact that the apartment is in the center (near the town hall itself) in the evening it was quiet and calm. Restaurants and cafes are within a five-minute walk, a supermarket is 10 minutes away, and the city beach is 15 minutes away. Nearby is a transport stop that takes you to Bergamo. The prices in the restaurants are very pleasant (especially when compared to Milan).

We slept in a La Fontana apartment for 2 nights during our transit to Greece. After a very long drive, we arrived late at night and there we were greeted by Doris. Her cheerful and uplifting personality was contagious. The apartment is as described and exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean and Doris was there for us the whole time. Delicious breakfast and everything came from Doris's parents' farm. Fantastic. The entire atmosphere of the complex is cozy and clean. Would recommend this to anyone! We were with toddler and baby and that was fine too.

My partner and I visited Lake Como for 3 nights and chose Mandello Del Lario as a base. We couldn't have made a better choice. Melania's apartment was perfect for us. Our check in was simple, the key was left in a safe at the property so we didn't have to worry what time we got there. There is short term parking outside so we could unload our bags. Everything was clean and there were some essentials left for us by Melania which was extremely kind. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets kept us warm and we both felt refreshed each day after a lot of walking. The location is perfect, you're just a stones throw from the lake, and each evening after a long day of exploring we would sit out there with a glass of wine and watch the heron that frequents the area. The local businesses are all great and Melania will send you recommendations, take her up on them Thank you Melania and Francesco for making our trip special!
