Andrew was an excellent, responsive host, and the cabin was as advertised and extremely well-appointed. The location is private and peaceful, which is what we were hoping for - to have a quiet couple of days to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, sitting by the fire pit, and a few rounds of cornhole. There's a wonderful (and scenic) brewery just a few minutes down the road that we also enjoyed. Definitely hope to be back!

Place was everything and more!! Very easy to get to and was just a slice of heaven! Loved the hot tub, giant chess board and the movie room!! 10/10!! Hosts were extremely responsive and showed absolutely class and grace to me as I asked 1000 questions lol. Highly recommend

We had a great time here! Everything worked as indicated! Our 4 year old had us living in the hot tub the last few days, which was very clean and relaxing! We enjoyed pool, pacman, air hockey and corn hole! The linens on the bed were very nice hotel quality with really comfy throw blankets, too! This place had everything we needed from keyhooks to plastic baggies and aluminum foil. It was such a cozy home away from home! Thank you Eric and Jill for being so responsive to our needs!

Fun stay for our young family of four with two boys under 10 and our dog. Not quite the secluded atmosphere we thought, but the description of the home and the amenities were wonderful for our needs. Internet worked great along with the game room, hot tub, and gas grill. Very clean and a great host. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at River Rock Retreat. The location and views right near the river made it so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire-pit for evenings by the river looking up at the stars and listening to the frogs. The host (Nicole) was very responsive and helpful and the home was wonderfully equipped with everything that you may need. It was clean very nicely decorated. We had an excellent stay and look forward to returning soon.

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Great place and fun for the family. Clean, well-designed and loved that everything was there… from kitchen seasonings to shampoo/conditioner… very convenient and saves time and money on all the little things you have to pack/buy. The guidebook was super helpful and we took a couple of the restaurant suggestions - Hank’s BBQ and Ciro’s Italian are great local places! One small recommendation is to include a note in the Guidebook about paying attention to the Fire Risk sign. We didn’t know and had the propane table on the deck going. Security came and told us; they were super understanding and knew we were renters, but we definitely felt bad about our mistake 🤦‍♀️. Overall five stars!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very private location. The house was a nice cabin with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings. Very spotty Verizon cell service, but wifi worked very well for calling and internet. Would recommend for a private get-away.

My family and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway for some snow sports to enjoy! Sara’s place was in easy walking distance to Wintergreen Resort. The sidewalk connecting to the parking lots was a big plus to make it a safe walk to and from the resort. My family and I definitely enjoyed the games that were provided by Sara as well! Thanks for a clean and amazing stay!

Lisa's condo was fabulous! It was decorated beautifully and in a very peaceful location. It was great not having to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. If you need anything, she is quick to answer. It was the cleanest dog friendly Airbnb that we have ever stayed in!! We have a hypoallergenic dog so I appreciated not being covered in dog hair. We will definitely be staying again in the future! Thank you, Lisa!

We booked this Airbnb for our family and pups to stay at during our wedding weekend in Charlottesville. Miranda was super accommodating and responsive. Amazing stay!

Everything was great and we had a wonderful time!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. It was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time playing cards in the evening and watching movies. My 4 and 2 year old grandsons looked forward to going to bed at night so they could take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. The house had everything you could possibly want. The hot tub was a hit with my grown children. We look forward to returning in the future.

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

We had a great time at Justin's house. It was immaculate, had all the amenities we needed, and is a great location for exploring Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah Valley. Justin provided very detailed instructions, which made checking in a breeze. We would definitely stay there again.

Melina’s place worked super well for us while visiting Charlottesville. Very convenient location just minutes from UVA, dining, and restaurants. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the home had many thoughtful touches along with a great coffee selection. We hope to book again any time we are visiting our son at UVA.

Had a great stay at Hunter's place. We went with our family of four (kids 8 and 6) and some good friends, also a family of four (kids 8 and 6). The place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, nice kitchen, lovely living room, big bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. You feel right at home when you walk in, directions were clear, Hunter was very responsive, and Hunter and Sara provide some great local recommendations of their favorite things around town. Good value and I would definitely stay again!

This place is a very charming farmhouse, with a big, nice open kitchen and dining room space, a living room with plenty of seating for 8 guests, three decks/porches (one screened), and large bedrooms with comfy beds. Outside there is plenty of space to go for walks, farm animals and a nice pond which add to the lovely farm setting. It’s also a good location under ten minutes from Scottsville! We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and be back ourselves!
