We had a wonderful two-night stay at Katie’s Airbnb in Charlottesville! The house, though older, has been beautifully upgraded and offers a lot of space. With a separate bedroom, living area, and well-equipped kitchen, it provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The space was roomy, cozy, and nicely maintained. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again!

Quite, peaceful apartment on second floor of an 1891 mansion. Great views to the south (trees, hills, 19th-century rooflines). High ceilings, wide-plank wood floors, plaster walls, old windows. Access to main hall of the house, which contains a beautiful staircase and arch. Easy walk to the train station, the American Shakespeare Center, and restaurants and retail along Beverly Street and the Wharf.

Nice, clean place. Convenient location! Great if you want to fish or spend time on or near the river! Nice covered porch if it’s raining, great fire pit and chairs!

This was a perfect place to stay while in town for my sister's graduation! 2 min drive to downtown Staunton and grocery store, air conditioned, clean spaces, beautiful, large kitchen. The keypad was incredibly easy to use. For this price, I couldn't have been happier. There were also water bottles and snacks ready as soon as we got there, which was a welcome surprise after driving 8 hours and it being hot in Staunton. We stayed in the second floor apartment, so note that you will have to climb one flight of stairs in order to get to that apartment. Thanks again, Xiaorong!

Clean space, easy to find, and a very comfortable stay.

Loved this stay it was great for my family and I! My one year old had tons of space to play safely and my 10 year old had his own space to be comfortable! Loved this stay! It was nice and cozy!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The photos and descriptions are accurate. Accommodations were superb for hosting our large family. Amenities were also great (ex., fire pit). A bit remote, though we would definitely stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

Queen City Cottage was a very welcome change for us. We have visited Staunton on many occasions for family events in the past and always stayed in a hotel. Staying here provided us with more space and relaxation. Benjamin was always responsive to emails and the place was exactly as described. This was also the very first time my wife and I have used air bnb and we were quite pleased. It was more than we hoped it would be. We would definitely love to stay there again if Benjamin will have us.

Great house layout with a beautiful porch and lots of parking. The host is very responsive and helpful. It’s a little off the beaten path but close to lots of breweries and wineries. Would absolutely stay here again.

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

Hidden Haven is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. Quiet, private, and secluded, it lives up to every picture and description. From the heated tile to the closed in porch, every part of this Airbnb is perfect. My boyfriend and I plan to come back next year for another weekend. Thank you Sarah for a perfect couples retreat!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful Stay with Local Gems & a Disc Golf Bonus This Airbnb was a total gem! The space is beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Amy is warm, responsive, and provided fantastic local suggestions that really elevated our trip. Highlights included the community center with Trager’s coffee (a perfect morning stop), a fun local thrift shop, and a charming rock shop that felt like a hidden treasure. The neighborhood had such a welcoming, creative vibe—we loved exploring it all. And for the disc golfers out there: Walnut Hill Park is about 30 minutes away and absolutely worth the trip. It was every bit as amazing as we hoped—great course, beautiful setting, must go play!! We will be back!!! This place is a perfect mix of comfort, character, and local flavor!

Wonderful host and very nice accomodation. Easy to communicate with. House is at the peacfull location yet very close to the numerous fast food restaurants and shops.

Location was in good proximity of the places we wanted to visit (which were not Buena Vista). So I cannot comment on the town itself, but the house was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of nice touches (foil to use! oil! lots of coffee! detergent). I didn't feel like I had to run to the store constantly for the staples we needed. We were very comfortable and all slept well for the two nights we were there.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Randolph’s mountain getaway! The space was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—just the perfect escape from the noise and busyness of everyday life. Randolph was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and offered great local tips in his guidebook. If you're looking for a relaxing, private retreat in the mountains with a thoughtful and welcoming host, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Communication was great, the location was nice and the description of the facility was spot on. It was roomy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.

Mary, was very communicative. I knew upon arriving where to find keys, important things about the condo, and had some suggestions for the resort. The Wintergreen Resort was a wonderful place. My partner and I were able to have spa treatments which were stellar. We are at The Edge for dinner one night and got pastries in the morning from the coffee shop close by. It was a wonderful place. We hope to stay again.

Absolutely a gem!! Loved the super clean, comfortable (especially the huge soft sofa!) space. Kitchen had all the basics we needed, and everything worked as expected. Was the perfect location for our home base as we section-hiked the Appalachian Trail for a week. Would definitely stay again!
