This place is so beautiful. Remote and calm, yet not far from Tolmin. Renata is a very warm and welcoming host. She lives right next door and gave us loads of homemade and local products to try. A very good base for a wonderful holiday in the Soča Valley.

This is a lovely Alpine cottage right in the middle of the village. Short walk to several bars and restaurants. The cottage is as described and very well equipped. Everythjng worked well. Brian is very helpful and responsive. I’d recommend this for a stay near the lake.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) were so comfortable at Tatijana's cabin, particularly with access to three full bedrooms and plenty of sofa space, balcony, two seating areas and a large private garden to enjoy. The spotless cabin provides a real home away from home with everything you need to cook full meals and wash your clothing. Cute well organised kitchen. Beautiful views and friendly neighbours. Only a short drive to Lake Bohinj, the cabin provided a welcome escape at the end of the day. Useful to be pre-warned about the potential of noises from a family of dormice living in the roof - we only heard them one night - but it was good to be prepared with ear plugs to hand just in case! The cabin has a very steep staircase so might be tricky with little children or guests with limited mobility, but we managed everything fine. Highly recommend! We hope to be back! Thanks Tatijana and Martin x

Boštjan’s home was wonderful - in a perfect location for walking to Lake Bohinj, and within driving distance of all of the other areas we wanted to visit. We communicated with Tanja who was lovely, and both Boštjan and Tanja were super flexible on timings for us which was helpful with a 6 month old! The home was everything we needed for our first family holiday, and I would definitely recommend staying.

Very nice apartment for two couples traveling together. Comfortable bedrooms, and having two bathrooms was nice. Location is great - very rural, but less than a ten minute drive to Bovec. It’s also a ten minute or so walk down to the Soca River, with a couple of nice swimming spots along the trail. Highly recommended!

We spent four nights at Miha's place. It's very spacious, well stocked and contents every item you could ever need. The house is spotlessly clean and is situated in a quite village with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The easy access to the main road enables to get quickly to different places of interest in the area. We were mostly interested in hiking ant there were plenty of opportunities for that in the area. Miha was very responsive and gave clear instructions how to get to the place. Highly recommended.

Metka has been a wonderful and kind host in greeting us, making recommendations on places to go and great walks around, anticipating our demands. She has always been responsive in our communications, before and during our stay. The house is very well equipped because it has been lived in by generations, with a soul. Super clean. The location is perfect if one looks for quietness, close enough to the beauties of the lakes but without the crowds and the traffic. It is in a living village with active farming around but no shops or cafés within walking distance. The views on the mountains are stunning (get up early to catch the sunrise !). We can see the road but it is ok. Having a car is a must but 3 bicycles in very good condition are available. We were 4 adults and the house felt very comfortable and at ease. It only has one shower room downstairs (but 1 toilet on each floor) but we managed. My wife enjoyed the piano too ! Lovely time, fond memories. Viva Slovenia !

House in the Hill was perfect for our large group of 8. Plenty of space with lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to take you into Ljubljana. Klemen was the perfect host. Very helpful, with great local recommendations and always on hand to assist no matter the time of night.

"The Barn" is a beautiful, quiet place. We felt very comfortable in the house and were able to relax well. It is great with what devotion the old house was renovated and attention was paid to the smallest details. Tobi was always easy to reach, everything very straightforward. Full recommendation!
