Fylkesvei 569 is 30m from the apartment, but you notice little to traffic. 20m below the road Bolstadstraumen runs in tune with the tide. Here, there may also be the opportunity to fish with a pole part of the year. Directly from the residence you will find a lot of hiking opportunities, both along the road and to the mountains. Welcome to a charming cosy house at Øyane. The house is located next to a lake where you can go fishing ( permit needed )svimming, canoeing and kayaking or ice skating in the winter. The house is surrouded by mountains with perfect hiking trails. A famous trail is to "Vetlevarden at Storfjella", Vaksdal. The trip start just outside the frontdoor. At the end of the lake there is a 80 meter high waterfall "Hesjedalfossen" It take 20 minutes by car to the waterfall. We have a free canoe avilable.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
