Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

First time booking through airb&b, lovely house very clean and welcoming. Home from home feel as soon as you enter, great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained also a nice little welcome hamper was lovely on arrival. Host was very informative with all the details needed to make it all stress-free , Would highly reccomend booking cottage. Thank you joanne for a lovely stay.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

Excellent accommodation but in the middle of what is in effect a large housing development and quite a walk down to the beach. Quality of food at local pub was poor, but provided you are willing to go off in the car there are lots of interesting places and great beaches nearby.

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

Lovely, cozy little place in a nice, peaceful location with convenient walking access to Whitby via the Cinder Trail, and a very short drive from local Supermarket. We appreciated the pool. We also enjoyed ducks wandering around the site, and hearing the hoot of an owl in the evening.

Fantastic weekend was had with 11 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very happy. The house was beautiful with everything you will need and more! The evenings in the garden were a dream. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We had a wedding in York and booked Dawn’s house on all the reviews and recommendations. We were not at all disappointed! Very spacious house with all we needed. Getting into town was easy and being near to the station was good for my son and his girlfriend who also stayed with us. I would throughly recommend staying here Dawn kept us informed on all aspects of our stay. Thank you for an amazing time!

The five of us and our young dog had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Lisa’s house. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with some wonderful coastal walks nearby to wear us out. The garden was large with plenty for our dog to explore and the house was as described with a modern well equipped kitchen, large lounge with dining area and comfortable beds in bedrooms with plenty of storage. You need to do your research to find pubs and restaurants that allow dogs as they need to be driven to and pre booking is recommended. Our host Lisa was very accommodating and responded to all our questions quickly and helpfully. A visit to the nearby Flamborough Head lighthouse and coastal walk is a must to see the seals on the secluded beach. We would certainly book again.

We had a great time here in Whitby. The house is huge and well equipped and we had plenty of space for our group of 12. We appreciated being able to explore by foot as the house is within walking distance of the station, the town and the beach. Would love to return and stay a bit longer!

Had a lovely stay at Roberts place. It was spotless throughout and had a really cozy modern feel. Really comfortable furniture and beds. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Cheers again Jonny

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Very much enjoyed our stay in Richard’s spacious place. No too far from the city centre, great communication and we were quickly able to resolve a scheduling problem which was much appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful house!! EVERYTHING that you could possibly need for a few days away! We had 4 generations there to celebrate my 60th birthday and everything was perfect!! We’ve only been left a few hours and the grandchildren are asking when can we go again?? We would all love to return in the future!!

having been let down by our original holiday home we needed a place to stay at very short notice. we inquired about maple house and within 2 hours we were actually in the property. fabulous help and service from the team there.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Absolutely stunning house. Perfect for 16 of us celebrating a Hen weekend. The house is gorgeous, spacious and great location. Anna/ Julie was great at communicating and answered ant questions we had very quickly. would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay.

We had a great few days at Gaynor's house. It is just as described and there were lots of nice touches. Everything was really clear. It was also great to walk the 15 mins into the city centre. We will certainly stay again next time we come to York.

This home is well-situated, within walking distance of the town and yet it is quiet and peaceful. The amenities in the kitchen were extremely good and the fact that there were three toilets great. The outside area was very good.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely home and highly recommend it! Spotlessly clean, powerful shower and comfy beds with the most gorgeous views over the fields. The house had everything we needed (plus hand wash, toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and sponge, cleaning spray and cloth, tea coffee milk and biscuits, travel cot, night light plug, towels) and the kids enjoyed the books! It was in a nice peaceful location, and we enjoyed the walk down into Runswick Bay. Jamie was a brilliant host- he gave us lots of helpful recommendations, check in was easy, his communication was great and he was happy to help with anything. We definitely hope to return for another visit :)

We loved our stay at Bramble Cottage and will definitely return. Comfy beds and seating and clean modern kitchen. It was really cosy in the evenings with the wood burner. It was such a relief to have a properly secure garden for the dogs.
