We used the patio of this beautiful Airbnb for our wedding ceremony, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was charming, well-kept, and created the most intimate and romantic setting for our special day. I’m incredibly thankful to the host for honoring my request to have the grass cut before the event—it made the entire area look picture-perfect and ready for guests. We stayed for 6 nights/5 days for Mardi Gras! We are more than impressed with our stay! From the location, cleanliness, responsive host, the list goes on! The home was even better than described and we could have easily stayed here another week! Absolutely beautiful home and outside deck! Being right on the bayou and the ability to enjoy the wildlife and nature was unmatched! Not a far drive from New Orleans and felt very safe and at home! We will stay here every time we head to NOLA!!! If we could give 10 stars we would!

Wonderful clean place. Very peaceful and it was the perfect place to get some silence. Driveway parking is great. Would recommend it to anyone to stay.

This location was ideal for our family. We have young children and Robin and Lucy had a crib, a little newborn bath tub and toys for all the kids to play with. The property was peaceful and we felt right at home. This home was clean and inviting. The decor added to the wonderful experience as it truly was a home away from home for the holidays. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed here for a week and a half. The place was a nice cozy cottage with everything we needed. It was a rural setting with a very large yard and porch. Although it was too cold when we visited , it would have been perfect to sit on the porch at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

This place was perfect - clearly remodeled with beautiful furnishings and appliances, huge yard, very comfortable, door alarms for safety, secluded yet close to everything we needed. Shannon was very responsive and professional. Will stay here again next time we’re in town.

Our stay at Carrie's place was fantastic! The home was clean and looks exactly as described. The location was bit in convenient. Carrie was incredibly responsive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this location and would love to stay again!

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at Thomas' home. Our stay was perfect. Not only is the house spacious for a couple, the professional grade kitchen and large dining table made it easy to entertain our Slidell family. The location was great for our grandkids as well. As our visit was over Easter weekend, the adjacent downtown business district offered an Easter egg hunt and a visit by the Easter Bunny. The local farmer's market was only a block away, too. Grownups will have fun as well. There are a few restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy. We discovered Luna, upscale tequila bar, for a special nightcap cocktail. We will be back, for sure.

This was a very great place to stay. The backyard was peaceful, and a beautiful scenery. I also want to add that the view of stars at night above the water is an absolute sight to see on a clear night. Thank you for an amazing time and great experience.

We loved everything about it! it was perfect and peacefull. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and it had great privacy. Will definitely stay here again! Heather was amazing and responded quickly!

If you like privacy and outdoor / water activities this is the place for you. The property is very private and large and the house is big as well. The bed is super comfy and I had such an amazing and relaxing time sitting on the porch. Only downsides are it can be too windy occasionally to sit and eat outside and birds might use your car for target practice if you know what I mean but that comes with staying on the water. Overall very worth it and I would stay here again and I recommend it HIGHLY

My family came into town for my wedding, and this space provided the perfect place for them to relax and feel at home. This was our third year in Folsom for a family reunion and we’ve stayed in Susie’s beautiful family home for each visit. Our large group was very comfortable with plenty of beds and bathrooms. We really love the peaceful outdoor porch for morning coffee and evening gatherings. We look forward to next year!

Thanks so much! Donna was very communicative and helpful. The place was clean, easy to use, and she even left us a King Cake. A wonderful stay. The only issue (not her fault AT ALL) is the train. It's loud and didn't seem to have a set time coming through -- so something to consider if you have a baby or young kids.

Nice secluded location. Very reasonably priced and spacious. The host, Dustin, was very nice unto my family and me. He was also very accommodating to us. What Dustin did for my family while we were there has no words. Thanks can never be enough. If you choose Dustin’s house then know that you have an excellent host and you chose a good place to stay.

We loved our stay at Pelican Pier! Everything on the property was as beautiful as the pictures, all amenities were exactly as outlined, and there were many thoughtful touches offered by the host to encourage maximum enjoyment of the waterfront property. We have 4 boys (ages 8-14) and they loved the dock. We caught crabs, went fishing, and played on the small sand beach. It was too cold and windy to kayak but it was very tempting. The house has just enough common space and very nice bedroom arrangements for a family. Bringing an extra adult couple would have also worked. The house is not in a populated area - which we felt was part of the appeal! Slidell is close enough for quick trips. Downtown New Orleans is a 45 min drive but reasonable for day trips. We would definitely consider this property again if going to NOLA again.

We were in town for my sister‘s wedding, which was held at the Henry Smith House. Dustin also owns that facility. What a gorgeous place! The staff were amazing and so helpful, kind and very polite. I have never experienced such professional, accommodating, and easy going people that run a wonderful venue. The Annex was right down the street and a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend anyone that needs an event space to contact Dustin!

Great location and clean

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The home was perfect for our family of five—my husband and I and our three teenagers. The kids especially loved fishing and crabbing right from the property, and we were constantly spotting local wildlife—birds, alligators, lizards, crabs, and even crayfish. It was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful weather and absolutely stunning sunsets each night. The setting felt like a hidden gem—close enough to New Orleans for day trips, but quiet and full of natural beauty. We made so many great memories here. Highly recommend!
