Vacation rentals in St. Tammany Parish

We had a very nice stay; the house and grounds were immaculate, and as shown. They had two outdoor dining tables which are great for outdoor dining, four lounge chaises, and four Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed being outside on the pool deck in the afternoon after a day of touring. The pool was cold as expected, although, I know the hosts are planning a pool heater in the near future. The inside of the home was very cozy and welcoming, but still quite spacious. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Great stay! Thanks again!

Excellent stay! Accommodated two adults, two teens, and three children with ease. Loved the location; felt secluded and private while close enough to walk or make a short drive to the lakefront, playgrounds, restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely return.

Very unique place. We enjoyed the grounds and sitting by the fire outside. Our fur baby enjoyed exploring too. It was relaxing and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. We also drove into nearby Covington and had a great lunch at LOLA.

This was a very lovely spot for a weekend get away. It had the benefit of feeling very private, secluded, and safe while also being no more than a 15 minute drive from activities and places to eat. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to spend some time with family or friends.

Brian’s place was a breath of fresh air LITERALLY. The home is a lakefront property with stunning views and very peaceful. My mom lives exactly 12 minutes away and had no idea that location existed. It’s located in a secluded area away from the real world and was just what we needed. Brian provided fishing gear and small boats if we wanted to get on the water but we were good sitting on the pier. The yard is huge and beautiful. The neighbors next door came by to greet us and even invited us to their Easter program at church which we would have attended if we didn’t commit to attending church with my mom. I could stay here over and over and most likely will when we come back to visit my mom. I give this place 5 Stars plus more!!! Brian also communicates well and very responsive and that was before we arrived. Once we got on the property, I had no need to contact him because everything was provided for us and I do mean everything. We even had baked goods and snacks waiting for us.

Myrtle cottage is everything we expected and more, but the true gem is Bobbie herself. She has a beautifully appointed house, meticulously clean and she has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. We frequently visit the North Shore and this is by far and away the top choice of all the places we have stayed. She takes Southern hospitality to a new level! We enjoyed the wildlife, beautiful surroundings and peaceful property. There are plenty of places to explore and visit within 20-30 minutes, and the restaurants in the area will not disappoint. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven and visiting Bobbie our resident Southern angel.

very peaceful stay secluded from surrounding areas and a good location for a day trip to New Orleans and good restaraunts around.

The place was exactly what we wanted, great location, walkable, exactly what we wanted. Only negative was we didn’t have a longer time to stay!
