Vacation rentals with a fire pit in St. Lawrence County

Great view of the river, passing ships, and fantastic sunsets… which is what we were looking for in our few days up on the River. place was nice and cozy. wish we had more time to relax and enjoy. I’d return here again!

Laurel was an amazing host! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even offered us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. The peaceful surroundings and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here—we’d definitely love to come back!

This cottage was right on the lake and was extremely peaceful. Kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun! It’s a short trip away from 1000 islands which was so worth it!!

I don't even know where to start! This is incredible! The house is really clean! Cozy! Light! Warm! Friends work in construction business and they checked the house with a special black light!Everything is perfectly clean! This is the house i would like to rent in the future! Had a great time staying at this beautiful cottage, there’s everything there you need to make yourself feel right at home. Host was very responsive and helpful. The place is newly built and completely furnished with all new appliances and furniture. Would book again if I ever come back to visit

It was our second time at Amy's river house and we just love it. The cabin is comfortable and cozy and we felt right at home returning. We spend time with family and like to have meals together - the kitchen and grill are perfect for that. Our grandkids love the house and grounds - so much to explore and see outside! We love just sitting a looking at the river and clearing our busy minds. And, all my favorite flowers (lilac, lily of the valley and forget me nots) were blooming - something I really miss living in Florida. Amy is a wonderful, thoughtful host and we appreciate all you do. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Another great example of the listing matching reality. Great responsive host and perfect location for anglers and boaters who bring their own boat. It cannot get more convenient with the low key but public boat ramp literally adjacent to this property.

This was a very clean and well organized place. Everything you could think you would need was there. Beth communicated very well and provided all necessary information ahead of time. I really couldn't think of any questions to ask because of this. I would definitely book it again.

A co- worker and myself were in town for training and rented out Stephanie’s place. It was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Loved that it was close to the water and they installed a kayak and boat launch for guests use. The rental actual sits behind a boat and RV rental business and we could have rented a boat if we had the time. The fire pit and Adirondack chairs were a nice addition to the property and the views from the windows which were all mainly facing the water, was a joy to wake up to every Morning. Stephanie was beyond helpful and responsive with any questions we had. I Would have loved to maybe have a list of local eateries, menus and stores but that was easy enough to google honestly. I highly recommend staying at Stephanie’s place and will be staying again in the future if I am ever in the area again. Stephanie’s place felt like home.

I made a quick trip to the area to attend graduation, so I mostly unwound and slept there. I was greeted when I arrived. Everything was explained and shown, including the lovely riverside area, which sadly I could not take advantage of due to weather and time restraints. Pleasant, quiet, and friendly all around. It was an easy drive to Canton for graduation festivities.

Emily was a great host! Very very responsive for our questions, was able to clear a couple things up, and even offered an extended stay! The location is nice, offers basic amenities. Couldn't quite get to the water from the location due to overgrowth, but it was a quick walk across the street to do so. The train going by was loud at times, but that's obviously not the hosts doing! lol. Otherwise, a suitable spot for a place to stay when visiting. :)

Perfect little getaway that my husband and I needed. Not too far from needing to go to town but in the woods enough that it was peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoors, fire by the river, and enjoying the sounds of nature. The screen door for the sliding door was one ofmy favorite things. During the day we used it to listento the rain, birds, and for the nice breeze. It was great to have that scenery while having a cup of coffee and read a book in the morning. Their DVD collection was awesome, nice variety with some great classics. My husband enjoyed a morning run through the area and told me it was the best place he has ran so far. I definitely wasn't expecting there to be any kind of food/seasonings and they had extra things in the cabin which was awesome since I forgot the sugar for my coffee lol. Overall we loved it and plan to do another getaway with them before we move.

I could not have enjoyed my stay any more than I did. Tim's in-person orientation to the property was one of my favorite parts. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about his property and seeing all the components that keep the home off-grid. The home itself was incredible. Every component of the home is thoughtfully put together. Tim having built the entire thing from hand is astonishing. It is clearly a passion project and one that I was grateful to have the chance to enjoy for a few days. I have stayed at many Air BnB's over the years and this was the best experience I have had to date. I will absolutely be back again. I would love to see how it looks when the orchard starts to bloom. I also appreciated that my two senior dogs could accompany me. Thank you for having us! We loved your beautiful cabin!

Words do no justice for how absolutely incredible our stay at this cabin was! We look forward to returning to our new serene and happy place! It was so much more than we could have imagined inside and out, and the hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating. The entire process was smooth and when we arrived we felt right at home, it was magical! We were very satisfied and comfortable, we loved the Cabin! It's pretty, cozy and brand new!! A good drive to get there from Canton or Potsdam, but it was worth it for us! Close to the main road, even though you have to drive a bit inside the wood, the area was cute to look around. Clear indications and a lot of lights, I really appreciated that!! Prize was reasonable and a lot of stuff provided without extra costs. The hosts are very generous, accommodating and they thought of everything! I was pleasantly surprised, we had everthing we needed. The bed = SO COMFORTABLE! We can put on AC if needed. The sauna is a plus and very cool. I'm very happy I found this Cabin and I will definitely come back when I visit this area again! Thank you again Pearl and Harry :-)

We loved the cabin! Was a beautiful getaway for me and my family. Was just as described. Peaceful and cozy. Loved waking up every morning to watch the birds and overlook the pond. Although it rained the majority of our trip, we still were able to enjoy the outdoors and checked out some spots located in a recommendation book they provided. Was nice to relax in front of the fireplace after a long day. Very friendly and would highly recommend the cabin. Also gave us some homemade jam which was absolutely delicious. Thank you Ron and Cheryl, was a very nice getaway.
