House vacation rentals in St. Lawrence County

This was a beautiful destination that is private and away from the road, but close enough to all major shopping. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in and had all amenities that you could think of. The host was very friendly and responsive. He even had coffee and breakfast in the Airbnb for us in the morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking. The bathrooms had everything you need for a shower or bath and even had toothbrushes, toothpaste and makeup wipes. The pictures almost don’t do it justice because it is such an amazing gem. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool and outdoor deck area. I would say it is perfect for a family or even a romantic getaway for a couple as there are standup showers and a Jacuzzi jet tub. Better than a hotel and amazing value for the price. We won’t stay anywhere else when we come in the area and we always come back to this property.

Stayed for two nights for my daughter’s auditions at SUNY Potsdam Crane School of music. It worked out for us perfectly, place was warm and cozy despite the -2 temp at night. Plenty of and the place was very clean. Stephanie is a great responsive host.

Claire was a great host and made communicated very well with me during the booking process. Felt like home and was very clean. Perfect spot for families coming up to visit St. Lawrence. I would totally recommend staying here if you’re booking somewhat last minute because all the hotels in Canton are usually taken for alumni weekend far in advance. Thanks Claire! We’ll be back!

This airbnb was very spacious and fun. We held my bachelorette weekend get away here with my bridesmaids. Helen was very responsive to our messages and made our stay a breeze. The pool is very clean and the rooms are great size. The dinning room and living room was a great set up for game night! this airbnb is about 20 minutes from awesome spots at Alexandra Bay.

Quiet, cozy place, just as pictured. Firepit on back deck and gas fireplaces were a nice touch. Place was within easy drive of Lake Ontario. Robert was proactive and very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The home is beautiful and very spacious. There were huge windows that looked out over the river and just made it relaxing from sun up to sundown. We loved the deck and spent a lot of time out there watching the different birds, including a bald eagle. We had eight people so the bedroom situation was great. We were up for a graduation. If we came back to this area, we would absolutely stay here. Our host was friendly and accommodating, and very responsive.

My niece was graduating from SUNY Potsdam and we were looking for a place close by to stay as a family. I'm so glad we booked Shayne's house. It was a great location - just 30 min from Potsdam. My niece said it eased her anxiety to stay here with the family before graduation. I actually wish we could have stayed longer. It was such a peaceful location and everything was so comfortable. We felt at home as soon as we walked in.

Relaxing!!! This is the place. The view of the water with a morning cup of coffee was perfect. The kids enjoyed seeing the different ships go by. The description of the place was spot on.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Gull Pond home. The view of the lake with all the beautiful fall foliage was breathtaking. The home had all the amenities we needed to cook and eat together as a family. It was one of the best experiences we've had. Overall, the stay was relaxing and peaceful. We were there during the first snowfall of the season. The fireplace made the home feel even cozier. Josh was very responsive to our messages. He communicated clearly about checking in/out. We would happily stay again and recommend other to as well!

Alicia’s place definitely felt like a home away from home! The house was comfortable and spacious, and Alicia put a lot of thought into the little details. The house was very well-equipped and extremely clean. It was an easy 30-minute drive to Potsdam, which made it a great place to stay for the Clarkson University graduation.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Marsha’s place! Direct water access, plenty of space… a great place to stay on Black Lake!

We were heading to Canada to visit family only to realize one of us had an expired passport. So, last minute, we found somewhere to stay not too far away on USA side. As serendipity goes, Mark's place was amazing! Our 11yo daughter loved the Zipline, tree house and trampoline. We went swimming at a beach a few minutes away. Nearby trails were fun. Mark lent us bikes and kiddo went biking almost everyday. Fast internet made it easy for us to work. Also BBQed almost every day which was another great perk. Greatful for such a good experience.

Lots of space inside, huge lawn area, great deck and a sunroom. Check out was 11:00 AM on our last day. We were deer hunting and one of my friends shot at a deer. It turned out that he missed, but we spent a lot of time searching the area for signs of a hit. We were not able to clean out the rental until 1:00 PM. Joe was very gracious and understood our situation. We offered to pay an additional fee if necessary. Joe advised that would not be needed. Joe had also allowed us to check in a few hours early on the first day as the house was already prepared for us. Great rental home and a great host !!!!

Great home with a nice view of the lake, and very peaceful surroundings. Very wooded and feels like having a private place on the lake. Would be great place to relax.

We came in for parents weekend for Clarkson University and my children and some of my grandchildren were with us and my daughter was able to stay with us for the weekend instead of at the college. The home is definitely roomy and the bedrooms and the showers. I didn’t get to use the tub though, sadly did not have the time to use it. The home is close to Main Street easy to walk to not far from Potsdam. I think all the children and adults love the egg shaped chair in the sitting room overall, just a very comfortable made You feel like you were at home. definitely would use this Airbnb again thanks for a beautiful weekend

House was newly remodeled which made the accommodation warm and welcoming. House was stocked with everything we needed. William was very responsive. Would recommend this listing and would come back and stay.

Autumn's little bungalow was absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay during our daughter's graduation. It was only 30 min to SUNY Canton and a simple straight route I greatly appreciated not being familiar with the area. The view right on the river was beautiful even with the rainy/cloudy weather. The home was super clean and so welcoming. It was peaceful and serene. Autumn was quick to respond with any and all questions I had. Hopefully we will get another chance to stay as my daughter finishes her final year to graduate again with her full degree. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay for any and all colleges in the area. Thank you again Autumn!!

The view out of the back looking over Chippewa Bay is break taking at sunset. We absolutely loved that. The house was rustic and there was plenty of parking for our 3 trucks and boats. It was nice because lots of the little essentials like sandwich bags are already there.

This was a very peaceful place to stay. The view is wonderful and we found everything we needed.

John's place was perfect. I met my two friends - with a total of three young boys between us. The back yard and house were perfect for our needs. The beds and bedrooms were clean, comfortable and roomy. We were able to easily walk downtown for the day. Thank you for having us!

This property was exactly as described, truly an oasis, one that we could relax at after long days full of graduation activities at SLU. Accommodations were in great condition, every amenity I needed was available. Wayne was a great host and super proactive with all communication and house info was very clear. If you want a quiet getaway with tons of outdoor space and recreation in the NoCo, this is your place!
