Modern Dome in Shawnee Forest with Hot Tub

TeresaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
If you're visiting the Shawnee National Forest or just looking for some peaceful time in nature, this is the perfect spot to recharge! The experience is truly unique — even as someone who doesn’t usually camp, I was completely impressed with the dome. Kyle clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, from the layout and site to ensuring guest comfort. I loved the beautiful surroundings, the cozy dome itself, and little touches like the luggage cart at the end of the drive. Plus, the s'mores packet was such a fun and thoughtful addition, perfect for enjoying a movie out on the deck. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Thank you for such a wonderful experience — I’m already looking forward to my next glamping adventure!

I normally don’t stay at Airbnb’s, being a camper, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dawn is a great host and I would recommend her Place to anyone.

Allergy free Country setting with peace and quiet.

Stayed 8 days at Gabrielle's place. She was an excellent host, very quick to communicate and provide useful and helpful information. The check-in was very easy and the place was no problem to find. The place was as described and there were no surprises; everything worked as it should, the place was clean and great for our stay. I very much enjoyed my stay at Gabrielle's and would definitely stay there again when back in the area.

TreeRise at BaseCamp - Hot tub + Outdoor Shower

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place & Kaci & Waylon as hosts. We were meant to check in during severe weather and they were super communicative throughout the process. They watched the radar, made sure the storms had passed, and let us know when we could enter the treehouse safely. I could not have been more grateful for the communication, they even offered a late check out due to delays in checking in because of the weather. Which they definitely didn’t have to do. The place was beautiful and we absolutely loved everything about it. We were only there one night and while it was perfect, we are already planning a longer trip!! It’s so peaceful and they really do have everything you need there for a relaxing and disconnected stay.

Seasoned Host with New Listing

Love this place. All the amenities you need, burger joint one block away, the high school is right there, Baptist hospital 2 blocks, then downtown is just a turn down Kentucky Avenue. The AC is nice and cold and there’s a smart TV as well. Fast internet. Lovely front porch for guitar pickers like myself. Doesn’t get much better!

The Dome At Blueberry Hill

DougRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A Weekend in the Dome Tucked away in a quiet valley beneath a canopy of trees, the geodesic dome stood like a pearl in nature’s palm. For one perfect weekend, it was ours. From the moment we arrived, the world outside dissolved. Inside, the curved walls echoed laughter and the crackling of a fire. Light filtered through the triangular windows, painting the wooden floor with soft patterns as the sun moved. There was no Wi-Fi. No buzz. Just quiet—real quiet. We woke to the sounds of birds chirping and the curious glance of a chipmunk just outside. Raccoons raided the birdfeeder each night. A hawk soared above, catching thermals in lazy circles while woodpeckers knocked out their morse code. Sara had her coffee each morning like a ritual and sat outside to take in nature’s wealth. I watched her for a bit, smiled, then joined her. At night, the dome glowed softly under a galaxy of stars. We slept like babes. What an amazing place. Look forward to the next time.
