“What a wonderful place to stay and so close to town! We enjoyed everything about our room. It was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished with a view outside the windows to the lovely garden below. The veranda was nice too! There were extras including very soft sheets on a comfortable bed, Keurig and coffee included, a large fridge and a beautiful, rock floor shower. The garden offered wonderful, shady seating areas to relax and enjoy the flowers, the birds and the trickling sounds of the goldfish pond. We will be back again!”
This apartment is connected to my main home here in Eastpoint, FL: The Gateway to SGI! It is situated in the center of Franklin County which makes it an ideal spot to visit Apalachicola, St. George Island, or Carrabelle. This property is located 6 miles from the main public beach on SGI, almost a straight shot across the bridge. I am happy to welcome all guests to my own little Taradise on "The Forgotten Coast"!
“Tara's place was absolutely perfect. We were only there for one night, and we didn't want to leave. It's just across the bridge from SGI, and the bridge is super scenic and one of my favorite parts so it was fun to go across a couple times. The turtle flashlight was a super cool touch even though we didnt get to use it. We will definitely be back to explore more of the area when we visit again.”
located between historical Carrabelle and Apalachicola, Eastpoint is a Fishermans paradise....sport wise and eating from our restaurants. Oysters from our bay are shipped out daily to the rest of the US. The beaches on our Forgotten Coast are pristine white snowy beaches and are pet friendly! A 5 mile bridge takes you to St. George Island and the clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Semi rural and quiet with only 1 traffic light in over 40 miles. Place for small RV with 30 amp only.
“5-Stars. Sharon is an outstanding host and and an amazing person. The bedroom, while modest in size, has everything one needs and is extremely clean, tastefully decorated and inviting. The bathroom is also most adequate and very clean. Sharon shares her home with her guests, making one feel like part of her family. The price is a bargain for the cleanliness, warmth and wonderful experience of meeting Sharon; an incredibly well traveled person with many interesting experiences and stories. I hope to be staying with her again in the future. Highly recommended.”
