Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

we had a wonderfully chilled break. Fully kitted out kitchen. hot tub great plus having a private bbq and private terrace was a bonus. animals great fun, plenty of parking. Bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. would highly recommend and we will definitely come back again.

The most beautiful place, the home was even better than we ever imagined, plenty of space, lovely views and walking trails. Most definitely would book again.

The perfect stay! We had a fab time in Amber Lodge and it was kitted out with everything you’d need - the kitchen was super well equipped. The hot tub was a huge bonus and lovely place to chill out in the evenings. The beds were all really comfortable & everything was spotless when we arrived. Farmer Vic was lovely & helped us out when we arrived. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. We had SO much fun meeting all the animals (even as a group of eight 25 year olds) and thought the lodge was a perfect base to visit Bakewell and the surrounding areas! Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved staying at The Paddock, Nicky was so accommodating and lovely. She welcomed us in, gave us advice for local places to visit and made it easy to feel right at home. Easy to find and plenty of room to park. We would definitely recommend Belvoir Castle just a short drive away. Thank you so much Nicky.

The old Piggery was perfect for our family (including dogs!). The place itself was bigger than what we were expecting and had everything we needed. Super clean and great water pressure. If Jenny will have us back we would love to have this as our go to stay when we are visiting friends and family. Thank you so much.

A beautiful converted cottage with a recently refurbished feel. Very close to Nottingham (20 mins by car to the centre) and a very private area. Paul and Suzie were very accommodating and helpful.

We had a brilliant time on Sharon’s boat. So lovely & peaceful and enjoyed a walk down the river & around the surrounding villages. The boat was quirky & really well equipped with everything you could need.

Utterly wonderful place to stay - beautiful location , spotlessly clean , excellent welcome basket of goodies , comfy sofas, comfy bed , big bath towels ,so many thoughtful touches. Better than the photos . Really responsive and welcoming host . Have already rebooked . A real find .

I had a wonderful stay here — the house is cozy, quiet, and full of warmth. It reminded me of my university days in Nottingham, and for a few nights, it felt like I had traveled back to that time. Thank you for creating such a comforting space. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Had a lovely stay here, straight into woods for walking, the horses at the equestrian centre seemed very happy and well cared for. Fabulous pub food within walking distance, farm shops and local attractions were great. Everything you need in the accommodation, we brought our own mobile wifi. Comfortable, would stay here again

A great cottage, lots of space and well furnished and equipped. Good off road parking on a fairly busy road. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely revisit.

Great rural base for 4 golfers each with our own bedroom, situated within fifteen minute drive of some of the best heathland golf courses in the uk. A good choice of restaurants / pubs even closer with some walkable. Amelia was a great host explaining everything we needed to know to make our stay a real pleasure, making herself readily available but thereafter just left us to enjoy our break. Would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to friends.

Jenni was super helpful friendly and very accommodating to someone who always leaves too much time to navigate traffic. We were so early but Jenni let us in early which we were very grateful for. The annex was wonderful exactly as described and perfect for our stay definitely hoping Jenni will accommodate us again next year

lovely little conversion of a out building clean and comfortable . little basic but at the price great value . very quiet and just minutes from 2 takeaways and village shop and post office.

A lovely cottage in a great setting. 2 excellent pubs and a micro brewery all easily walkable and a great location for Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton and most of the Peak District tourist locations. Hilary was an excellent host and we would highly recommend.

My son lives in Belper so always a pleasure to visit! This property was well kept and a pleasure to stay in from us both!

Excellent and responsive hosts. A clean and bright space. It is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Nottingham.

Where do I start from ? Marina herself was just simply the best host ever, very friendly, went out of her way to offer me more and more, location was awesome, house was very clean, extras loaded up, tea, coffee, milk, cereal, I could not have asked for more. 7 mins walk to town, 5mins drive to railway line. Very secure home. In summary, all went well, a must stay if visiting Loughborough. Thanks Marina

This was the perfect place for exploring the beautiful local countryside and get some much needed rest and relaxation. This was helped also by Ruth’s to class customer service - her communication was spot on, and she was so helpful. The cottage is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Will definitely be back!
