St Andrews - Tom Morris Drive

RhomaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay, the house was a bit further from the main st in St Andrews than we thought, although that was reflected in the price. And certainly not the hosts fault, as she told us very clearly where it was. Anyway, it was not a problem the taxis were easy and very affordable. Also you could also walk to the larger stores easily, plus there is a small shop for basics literally just across the road. The house had everything we needed for our short stay, right down to milk! It was also lovely and quiet and we slept very well. Thank you Margaret! I would definitely recommend, the info you gave us beforehand and the info in the house was very useful. Value for money without doubt, and the little touches you made to help orientate us were appreciated. hopefully we will return.

Large Victorian apartment: central, quiet

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Without a shadow of a doubt, the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. The photos really don't do the property justice; so light and airy yet still comfortable. Bags and bags of character; all furnished to a very high standard. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, like phone chargers and adaptors in all the rooms in case you have forgotten anything, and a stash of Tunnocks Teacakes by the kettle! We booked the property as we were visiting St Andrews for a family wedding and needed a four bedroom property, but this would very comfortably accommodate eight adults. Now looking for another reason to visit St Andrews just so we can re-book. Amazing.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The location is incredible, the views are stunning! We’re already missing waking up to the sea views. Lavender Cottage, near Broughty Ferry & Carnoustie

PieterRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lavender Cottage is amazing! I rented it for one month but could have easily kept living there much longer. It's very cozy and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed and shower were excellent. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need to prepare your own meals is there. The best part of the whole place is probably the sun room. On a sunny day you can sit there in a T-shirt even if it's cold and windy outside! My wife joined me for 10 days and it was quite comfortable for the two of us, but I do think that the space would be a bit tight for four people (what it is listed for). Sheena is the most amazing host. She always responded quickly to questions and was happy to give local recommendations. Knowing that I would arrive with jetlag, she even placed an initial small supply of food in the kitchen! Two minor inconveniences are the lack of an outlet plug in the bathroom and the hard-to-reach kitchen faucet. But overall I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in this home. The house is spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was really well kitted out. The living room furniture is a bit shabby and could do with being upgraded but it didn’t spoil our stay at all. We really enjoyed the house. So well positioned for everything you want to do in Elie. The parking is a huge bonus and I would think fantastic in the busier summer months.

Lovely place. It is well equipped, warm and has a lovely garden. We did not use the kitchen much but it had everything in it. I can say this was the cleanest Airbnb I have ever been. Christine was very nice and helpful. We were travelling with a 4 year old but we think this will suit more couples as is a large single sleeping area. Definitely recommended

Balass House Stables Cottage Nr St Andrews

AnnaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A very cosy, comfortable cottage with well considered, stylish touches that made it a thoroughly delightful place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, with thick toppers, plentiful pillows and luxurious bedding. There was plenty of hot water, and a good shower. Susan was welcoming and proactively helpful - both in providing additional cookware for a particular recipe I wanted to make, and in sourcing a new firestick for the TV so we could access Netflix. All in all, a lovely and peaceful haven for our mini-break in Scotland.

The Lodge @ Panbride House

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

Just home from a few days at The Firze and we had a fantastic, chilled out time as a family of 7 with 2 dogs. House is beautiful, spacious, clean, super comfy beds and well kitted out, a home from home. The surroundings are so peaceful with gorgeous views from the garden which we also enjoyed while sitting relaxing in the hot tub which was a huge hit with our 3 teens! Lovely walk nearby with the dogs and 3 of us took a tour around the local distillery which was really good. Would highly recommend and would def book again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Just back from hosting my sisters hen weekend- we had both the Dairy and Southfield farm property and loved our stay. Most of our time was spent at Southfield farm- the pictures don’t do it justice it is such a great house. The outdoor space in particular is so good with huge hot-tub , loads of seating, bbq, pizza oven etc! All the bedrooms were really comfy & plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is really well kitted out & the place has everything you need. Plenty of great indoor socialising space for a large group too. Gus was so helpful whilst we were there- he really went above and beyond to help!
