My stay at Shamim’s place was decent overall. The listing aligned with the photos, and the space was reasonably clean. However, it would have been helpful to mention that the place is located within a complex. A few things could be improved. While the essentials were provided, some amenities fell short—for example, the bathroom could have been tidier, and the linen could be of better quality. Having a dryer would also make a big difference. It wasn’t a bad stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. With a few adjustments, this place could be much better.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Donkey Farm! Joan's warm welcome and farm tour made us feel right at home. The real stars of the show were the adorable donkeys - we fell head over heels in love! Feeding and patting them was a highlight of our stay. The house was spotless and offered plenty of activities to enjoy. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! We can't recommend The Donkey Farm highly enough.

The place is great, and Sadeepa was an excellent host. The apartment had everything I needed for a long stay, and there’s heaps available within a short walk.

The cabin was just what we needed for our two week stay in Canberra visiting family. The space was ideal for the two of us (elderly folk) and we used the separate bedroom for our clothes, storing suitcases, etc. Both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable and all the linen looked almost new. The kitchen area has an induction cooktop, separate oven, microwave, large fridge and washing machine. Excellent saucepans and frypans. However, as we use airBnB accommodation to cut travel costs by cooking our own food, a few extra items (coffee plunger, serving dishes, colander, tongs and breadknife, for example) would have been welcome. The area is suburban so there was background noise such as dogs and young children but no traffic noise. It is a short walk to the Watson shops (nice cafe, supermarket with fantastic deli, takeaway and chemist) and a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest light rail stop. Parking is outside on the road. Overall, a great place to stay. Congratulations, Wendy.
