On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Here you live centrally in Spjelkavika, just a few minutes from Moa shopping center, cinema, swimming pool and great hiking opportunities. Ålesund city center is about a 10-minute drive away. Although the public transport is good, we recommend a car.

If you are interested in hiking, there are many nice locations just a short drive away. This area has a nice view of the "Summøre Alps". The walk to the shoreline takes about 10 minutes. Outside the house there is a large driveway with parking.
