Vacation rentals with lake access in Spaarndam

Richard and Brenda are very welcoming hosts, no question is too much and they are very proactive. Upon arrival, the Jacuzzi turned out to be broken, but the boat was then offered free of charge, and we were able to do a lovely trip on the lakes. the house feels like a home, everything is in the house to make it a nice stay (kitchen supplies, herbs, etc but also board games, a Wii,...) definitely recommend staying here

We had 4 very nice days in the idyllic surroundings and the very nice house. There were five of us there and we had a dog with us too. Everything was a great fit. Going to the cottage and exploring the area was also really fun. We would definitely love to come back again. Best regards and thank you. Winkler family

Very nice contact with quick answers from Wouter. The location of the house is wonderful, quiet and with a great view of the water all around. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and the house is exactly as described in the listing. It is not far to Lisse, Keukenhof, Utrecht and Amsterdam.

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The apartment is very nice and cozy. you open the front door in a small hallway, from which the quite steep stairs lead straight to the second floor. On the top left (with the canal view) there is 1 single bed. On the top right is the second bedroom with a 1.40 m bed and a built-in closet. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with the shower and a toilet. From the hallway just to the right, the door leads into the open living dining area (sofa, table, 4 chairs , 1 stool) with open kitchen. From the kitchen you can access the guest toilet and the outdoor area : terrace and a small staircase to the left of the shed (washing machine and storage area ) overlooking the canal. Seating is available. Need to Know: - Back door is opened by pushing the latch up when turning the key. -Bed is rather soft and a little saggy Place is highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

The Luna Beach House is beautifully decorated, absolutely tasteful and stylish. The location by the lake and the view of it put a smile on our faces every day. It was also nice that everything was so clean. We would come back!

Refreshing, peaceful and beautiful cottage. Demi is friendly and took care of us throughout the stay. I highly recommend it because the place is exceptional!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The pictures correspond exactly to what it looks like. Communication with Sandra was also very good 😊

We loved our stay in Uitgeest! It's a little far from the train station (half an hour walk), but the walk is fun and through the beautiful small city center. The whole apartment was beautiful and well-laid-out, and everything was super clean. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anything more — it was perfect! We particularly loved the porch overlooking the canal, though we weren't there long enough to fully avail of it. All-around, a great place to stay in a very beautiful spot not too far from Amsterdam.

Super location. On the dyke, but in a quiet place. Car can be parked for free. Friendly host who responds quickly. And we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious treat waiting for us in the fridge!

A 10-star accommodation, quite an experience

Mr. Mike was great, very kind, the house is great and the place is very beautiful. It was a nice weekend.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

Loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. Cabin rooms were perfect for teens (13 & 15) and location was excellent with nice restaurants and supermarket in easy walking distance. Very friendly hosts, would love to visit again.

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Edam is a great place where you can easily get everything you need on foot. It has lots of great restaurants in walking distance and everywhere has picturesque canals and waterways. Super friendly and relaxed home with top class amenities. Perfect for a family .

We felt very comfortable with Lonneke! Everything was as described in the photos. I also loved that she always responded quickly to my messages and questions. The place was clean and well furnished so that nothing was missing. The location is very great and very easily accessible by bus from Amsterdam and you are in the center in a good 15 minutes! If you want to have peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the city, I highly recommend this place! Simply super nice location and super hosts! Thank you for the great time and for your hospitality! I'd love to come back when I'm in Amsterdam again. Everything was great!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We spent a great day there! Everything looks even better than on the pictures. The house and surroundings are really cozy and peaceful, good for walks or relaxing cycling. We met a beautiful sunset on the terrace (feels private!) and had a nice breakfast (kitchen is fully equipped). We stayed there in the middle of March, when it wasn’t so warm outside, but inside the house it was nice and warm (you can use an air conditioner for hitting and it works absolutely fine). The host is friendly and proactive — all our questions were addressed even before we asked it 😁
