Rare Gem in the Middle of Town

This cosy place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Whether you want to go shopping, have a meal in the historic centre of this medieval town or take a walk on the riverbank of the meandering river Inn, this place is in the middle of it all. Many Medieval structures of Wasserburg remain intact, giving the city a unique character. The “Altstadt,” where the apartment is located, is an easy bus ride from the train station, making everything accessible without a car.

The studio is on the 2nd floor of a modernized farmhouse in a spectacular location. The property is located on the slope of the highest elevation before the Alps in northern Chiemgau. From the courtyard there is a view to the east far over the land and to the south to the mountain range. Lake Chiemsee is about 25 km away. In the municipality there is a swimming lake in a beautiful location. We operate an organic farm with chickens, bees and free-range pigs and a small sheep farm.

El Bohio is an apartment on two floors in our BogenVilla, a farm first mentioned in 1260, which we have lovingly renovated since 2019. The balcony overlooking our gardens and meadows allows you to relax. Located between Haag in Upper Bavaria (6 km) and Wasserburg am Inn (11 km), Munich (45 km) and Lake Chiemsee (38 km) are also nearby. Your hosts Kirsten (from Puerto Rico) and Marc (from Berlin) live in the BogenVilla and are always there for you.
