Horse Lovers Black Hills Bunkhouse

AnnetteRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Beautiful, peaceful place. Nice to hear the horses right outside our door. No internet is fine but we also had no phone signal there as the cottage is in a valley and John never introduced himself or suggested how we might reach him should we need to. Otherwise it was a pleasant respite from the long road trip and many beautiful parks to visit within a short drive.

Custer Cabin in the Black Hills

We really enjoyed staying at Cheri’s place. The location is extremely private and is surrounded by beautiful grounds and nature. We loved sitting on the deck and seeing the family of deer visit us every morning. The accommodations were beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, and perfect for our two-family party of six people. It is also very conveniently located next to Custer. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this lovely home to others.

Angostura lake getaway

CindyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the most comfortable place ever felt just like our own home. The geese flying into the pond outside was such a treat to watch. Unfortunately we were not there for fun but we sure felt better being able to enjoy each other’s company.

Dwntwn Custer Farmhouse on Main St. with Hot Tub

We really enjoyed or stay at Sarah's Airbnb. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was quite enjoyable. Although, it is on the edge of downtown, we had no issue with road noise, which was nice relative to the location. There is a grocery store across the street, so it was easy to walk over and buy food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. The Pizza Mill restaurant was also across the street and there pizzas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this impendent and locally owned business. We also walked a block to breakfast one morning and ate at the Our Place restaurant. This locally owned breakfast diner was also a gem and had a wonderful hometown atmosphere. Further down the main street were several other shops and places to eat. The only negative issue with Sarah's pace was the narrow, steep, and winding stairwell to the second floor. None of our group over 50 felt comfortable staying upstairs. All and all a good stay.
A spacious deck is surrounded by trees, allowing for natural light to filter through the branches. A small table and two chairs are positioned on the wooden surface, which features distinct shadow patterns from the surrounding foliage.

Diane's Custer Vacation Rental

Candi’s listing felt private but was very close to everything, restaurants, convenience stores, and 30 minutes from Keystone. Overall had a great time with family.
A winding gravel driveway leads through tall pine trees to a rustic wooden lodge with a green roof. The property features a secondary building adjacent to the main lodge, both surrounded by natural greenery and boulders, illustrating a serene forest setting.

Laramie Bluffs Mountain Getaway

Highly recommend a stay at Linda’s. I am a 70+ senior citizen and had some concerns about the stairs. Linda alleviated my concerns and even carried the luggage upstairs for us. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. The apartment was comfortable and a welcomed retreat at the end of a busy day. The location was beautiful with forest backing up to the property. Linda’s is located several miles off Hwy 16 and is accessible via a well maintained gravel road. Look for deer at night! If I’m in the area again, would definitely plan on booking Linda‘s place.
