There are numerous excellent restaurants and pubs in the vicinity, and for rugby fans Murrayfield is a 22 minute walk away (1.1miles).

A bright 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the Old College's Dome. The very central and unique location means most sights are within walking distance. A stone's throw away from the Festival Theatre, National Museum. The Castle, Royal Mile and Grassmarket are nearby. Great coffee place below and a friendly local bar. 4th floor. No lift. If you have heavy luggage or have mobility problems be aware of this as there are many steps up. I'm usually always around to meet people and let them in myself.

Positioned on the top floor of what was once the White Horse Coaching Inn, built by Laurence Ord in 1624, the loft is entered by the iconic steps seen in so many photos of Edinburgh. It was a special experience to stay in this cosy place in a beautiful neighborhood. It's less than 30 minutes walk to downtown, and many buses run frequently. Angela was a kind, loving host, making me comfortable during the day. In addition to the lovely room that has a good view and the clean, modern bathroom, I could use the nice kitchen that looks towards the garden. It felt like staying at a friend's. Everything was lovely.

I was looking for a few days in a home and I absolutely found that. Judy and her husband are warm and welcoming and the upstairs space is very sweet and comfortable. I especially liked the view of Arthur's Seat, the big bed, open windows, and thoughtfully stocked fridge. It is very easy to catch a bus to/from the Old Town but I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and The Meadows. Thank you, Judy!

My wife and I stayed for 2 days. The tram is 2 minutes from the house. You can go to the center in 10 minutes, so the location is very advantageous. The house was convenient and clean. We were not disturbed in any way. Also, the house dog Stella was very sweet.

Matt's place is a real find, it's very well located to walk into central Edinburgh and its in a quiet location within the City. Sharing the flat was no problem as Matt was very personable and amenable with some really helpful suggestions as to places to visit and dine out. We would be happy to return and also recommend to family and friends.

I really felt at home at Jose's house. Jennifer was very helpful with all my questions & recommended many things to do. The place is around 20-30 minutes away from the popular areas but the bus station is right outside the house which makes it easy to go anywhere. The house is super clean Definitely recommended for solo female travellers if they need a safe place Thank you for a very pleasent stay! Highly recommended :)

Excellent stay at Sabrina's! the location is perfect and Sabrina was very kind, even to welcome us very late in the middle of the night due to flight delays. Would definitely recommend. All attractions from Edinburgh are approximately 15min walking away from the flat!
