Monthly Rentals in Southgate

This place is like an oasis inside and out. It is exactly what I look for in a vacation home: a place I want to spend time versus being simply a place to sleep. The interior design is homey but exactly what you would hope for being in a beach town. There are several unique sitting spaces where you look at beautiful paintings of palm trees and beach scenes. The kitchen and bathrooms have simple splashes of color that are fun. In addition, they have every amenity you would expect. The kitchen is fully stocked and it was easy to cook. Beds are comfortable and design in each room is inviting. The exterior is amazing! The pool area is surrounded by tropical trees and plants. It was so quiet and peaceful. We spent hours outside relaxing. The neighborhood is extremely quiet so it truly felt like we were away from it all. Everywhere we wanted to go (beaches, shopping, etc) was a 20 minutes or less drive. This is an older neighborhood filled with iconic Florida-style bungalows.

I stayed in one of Sharon’s units for 3 mounts during my travel contract and it was the best place I’ve stayed in by far in my travel journey. Super clean, quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors also close to all the stores. Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

This property is wonderful! We especially loved the pool/lanai area. The back yard is very private and relaxing. It’s just short drive to Siesta Beach / Village area and downtown Sarasota. Christa and Bob are excellent hosts.. very attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend this property, and are looking forward to staying there again next year. Thank you Christa and Bob!

We had a great time exploring Sarasota from this condo. We were a few minutes away from beaches, and could walk to the Selby Gardens, the downtown farmer's market and marina. Our host Lloyd checked in with us more than once and gave us great suggestions. We were sad to go when our stay was up.
