What a lovely home!! We had a wonderful time at Kimber’s place. Great decor, a great back deck and back yard where our whole group- kids included could play, relax and bbq. We were just a few minutes drive from the beach and loads of ither attratctions like the Wright Bros. Memorial. We especially appreciared how well stocked the kitchen was with an incredible array of pans, cookware and serving dishes. It made it that much more fun hanging out and having family meals. They also have all the beach gear you’ll need- an umbrella and loads of chairs.

Rene’s home was absolutely spotless, up-to-date, well equipped, and had fun, matchy beach and mermaid themed decor. It’s on a quiet, residential feeling street that feels like a mix of neighbors and rentals. Rene herself was very proactive, checking in regularly throughout the trip. Highlights include the screened porch, peaceful backyard with deck, swing, and large shady tree, and the cabinet of commonly-needed spices and basic cooking supplies thoughtfully left for our use. although this absolutely looks like it could be a hotel, due to its immaculate condition, it had the feeling of someone’s home and that it was comfortable and cozy. Thanks, Rene! Hope to be back.

The place was exactly as pictured- but I didn't realize there was no common sitting area. However, our weather was beautiful and the outside sitting area under the deck comfortably served as that. Just be aware, if you like to watch movies, or sporting events together- it has to be from bed. That being said- the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped- and despite a person being upstairs, the upstairs noise was minimal. Easy walk to the sound and the ocean. We especially appreciated the umbrella, chairs and cart that were available for our use. We definitely enjoyed our long weekend at the beach! Thank you.

Where to begin? Amanda & Matt were exceptional hosts! Their little slice of heaven was quaint and private with great water views. It’s tucked away on the inner banks and was the perfect quick getaway for our family. Their space is clean and comfortable equipped with everything that we needed for our trip. They even set up a pack n play and bouncer for our baby. Their space even has some toys and books for kids to enjoy! They also had fresh eggs for us to enjoy and were super accommodating with our check in and check out. Amanda and Matt were quick to respond with any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality during our stay and are sure to be back!! Thank you so much, Amanda and Matt!
