Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Southern Maine Coast

This is a great place to stay just outside of Ogunquit its only 7 mins down the road. All the comforts of home and amenities. We would stay here again. it's also centrally located enough to do ALOT we went as far south as Boston and as far north as Acadia national park and as far west as white mountain national forest.

We instantly felt at home! Everything we needed was there, including things that I often bring with me because they aren't usually provided. Erin has set up this house the way you would if you lived there yourself--extra pillows, blankets, bathroom and kitchen towels, kitchen and laundry detergent. Basic spices, coffee and tea, sugar and creamer, every kitchen gadget and utensil. Bath products, night lights, beach chairs and towels. Even a bluetooth speaker and use of their Netflix account! All we needed were a few groceries and some sunshine to enjoy the outdoor spaces and seasonal game room. The house is spacious and charming! Their check-in and check-out methods are easy and they left ample info on how things work in the house and local restaurant and activity recommendations. This is a great location and home. I almost wish we had brought the kids...

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront home with our extended family, including a total of 6 adults and 5 kids. We had two additional adults spend one night, there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a group of our size. The location is unbeatable, right on Drakes Island Beach, with incredible views and direct access to the sand. While we didn’t go in the water, we spent plenty of time relaxing on the beach, walking along the shore, and enjoying the peaceful setting. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The large deck and open living spaces gave us plenty of room to spend time together and unwind. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, and we’d absolutely return again. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at this location! The setting was private and peaceful. The house was beautiful and it seemed like they had thought of everything. It was great to have the canoe and kayaks and of course we also loved the indoor and outdoor showers and indoor and outdoor fire options. This place was a splurge but I would say definitely worth it!

Yvonne needs to get an INFINITE number of stars, not just 5. Her Luxurious property really stands out from the crowd and this is coming from a very picky guest with high expectations and love for cleanliness, beauty and comfort. Truly a home away from home. If you reserve this property to stay for an endless number of days, you will NOT regret it. This property offers you all: The one million dollar view, the beauty of nature and lots of things to do while feeling relaxed. We traveled with 2 kids, a grandma, and a small dog and we all enjoyed our time there. Yvonne has thought of every little detail and I doubt that many hosts out there would go out of their way to make their guests feel special. There was a welcome gift, lots of games were provided for entertainment, kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit wood, outdoor kitchen and bathroom.... The lake is beautiful and clean. You will NOT run out of things to do inside this big home on a very hot or rainy day. We will be coming back!

The host was very accommodating and responsive! The place was spotless clean and even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. Would 100% recommend staying here! Perfect size for 4 people

I wanted a peaceful place by the water to unwind and Maggie’s home nailed it. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The deck views were amazing—islands, ospreys hunting, and a duck and her ducklings feeding along the shoreline. At low tide we poked around in the sand at the bottom of the rocks, and could have easily walked out to the center of the bay but it was juuuust a bit chilly for us. Easy to drive, park and walk along beach on the Atlantic side and explore. We didn’t have time to kayak but hope to be back to give it a go. So much beauty and nature, but with all the amenities that make it easy to relax. Maggie was responsive, and she and her family obviously care very much for the property. Check the propane BEFORE you plan to grill :), and bring flip flops to easily get from the house to the grotto (which was so comfy and cozy) and back again.

Shannon’s place was cozy, cute, inviting and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was really comfortable and so were the pillows! (It did get a little hot at night, so if you’re a warm sleeper you may want to pack a fan with you.) Shannon was a responsive, kind host. The beach parking pass and wine were such thoughtful touches. Overall, it was the perfect home base for all the Kennebunks have to offer! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed at David’s place several times now. We love the comfort of his place and the amenities. He is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns! Plus, his banana bread is delicious 😊 We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and it was everything we hoped it would be! Carol was an excellent host and a great communicator. The place was very clean and quiet. The location was priceless with a beautiful view of the water. We were within walking distance of everything we needed: shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. We would highly recommend Carol’s place and look forward to coming back!

This place is a gem. Location is perfect. It is close to shopping, restaurants & beach. Pete & Holly were personable & thought of everything you would need to be comfortable. It was very clean & the grounds were beautifully kept. We would highly recommend this property.

Thank you for a lovely stay Echo and Tom! The location is close to all that Southern Maine has to offer, being ideally situated between the Kennebunks and greater Portland. It's a short drive to the beach, and in close proximity to many great restaurants and attractions. The unit had all that I needed for a few days of rest & relaxation: full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and a clean, quiet & comfortable bedroom. Echo and Tom were wonderful hosts and I look forward to a return visit.

Matches exactly to the pictures advertised. Clean, very close to a quiet, almost private like beach. If you’re a lady into makeup, I recommend bringing your own travel mirror as the mirror in the bathroom was smaller and not above the sink. Would definitely recommend/return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exceptionally clean and felt fresh the moment we walked in. It had a very comfortable and homey vibe, which made it easy to settle in and relax. The host was incredibly proactive and thoughtful and always checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly and offering help whenever needed. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately we very busy schedule for our stay so could not enjoy all of the amenities but I am planning another longer trip to return in the spring.

We loved our stay here, perfect location and a clean and comfortable stay! Lots to do in Portsmouth and the surrounding area and especially lots of great places nearby to eat. Convenient to have 2 parking spots and to be right next to a great restaurant! Well hope to be back in the future!

The best place to stay in Salem and the best host I’ve encountered on Airbnb to date. Alex and David were friendly, thoughtful, communicative and accommodating. Their place is spacious, quaint and comfortable. We made great use of the great location across from the common, walking into the city center for all our outings. We couldn’t have had a better time and stay, thank you so much!

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

You cannot beat the location with this rental. We love coming to Willard Beach with our pup, and when our old go-to BNB stopped renting we were so worried we wouldn’t find another. But this condo worked out so perfectly in terms of location (across the road from both Scratch Bakery and Willard Scoops, comfortable walk to the beach with several entrance options) and the actual comfort of the condo itself. The proximity to the beach was really a plus for us, as we didn’t have to get up as early to make the dog friendly beach hours! Host is responsive, and any household items (eg. soap, coffee filters) that were missing from the condo we could easily run down to get from Hannaford. The downsides: It is on a second floor walk up, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Hand railing is odd too. Bit pricey, couldn’t swing a full week this time around as the price shot up dramatically when I added Friday to the duration. But overall, really lovely!
