Vacation home rentals in Southern Maine Coast

This was a great rental! The location is amazing--not only because of the proximity to town, but even within the complex--the deck overlooks trees and a little pond. It was quiet and peaceful. The mountain themed decor is perfect and the unit is open and spacious. The rental had all the necessary amenities and Maria is a great host! She responded super fast to questions and made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you Maria!

Great location for our parents weekend at our daughter's school close by. Our stay was perfect. We wanted for nothing. Host was friendly and communicated well. The property was well maintained, quiet, and private. We definitely want to stay again soon. Very thankful for Barry for sharing and trusting us with his beautiful property.

Super clean place and everything we needed for our weekend stay. Allison promptly answered any questions we had. The place is in a very peaceful setting in a wooded neighborhood. Thumbs up!

I visited New Hampshire for a month for work, and believe me I couldn’t wait to get to the apartment to relax with the sea view. Too beautiful.

very nice stay. price was a bit high... fir some reason it went up 2 days before the check in date although there was plenty of vacancy. Lyn was very responsive and helpful. the house is so well equipped... including all kitchenware and even toys and games.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The space is huge - it was so nice that with our group of 7 we could all have our own bed. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals with everything we could need. We also appreciated the soap, shampoo & conditioner in the showers and that there were more than enough towels for all of us. The cabin felt pretty private and it was lovely being surrounded by so many trees. We unfortunately weren’t able to use the community center amenities because we ran out of time but it was nice that they were available. Thank you for a great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming lake house! The place was clean and comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the check-in process seamless. The bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids – they absolutely loved having their own little space! We had so much fun kayaking on the lake and even managed to do a bit of fishing. The peaceful surroundings made our stay special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot!

Kellee and Hermann were the best hosts I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We visited the area for a ski trip to Loon Mtn. It was only about 5-10 minute drive away which was nice. Very easy check in/out. Great communication! They also gave some phenomenal restaurant recommendations in the area. We can’t wait to come back for black mountain burger co. and La vista. Would definitely come back!

My mom and I adored this place!!! We talk about this place everyday. We wish so bad we could have stayed longer. We always talk about going back. Sitting on the porch drinking hot chocolates (host provided) was a memory I’ll never forget. Best sunsets ever. It was my mom’s first ocean sunset. If it wasn’t for an amazing host like them, we would have never had this truly magical experience. We stayed here to go explore Salem but found that too chaotic. Gloucester is just BREATH TAKING!!! Hope we will be back soon. Also loved the chairs and was worried about using a firm bed but slept SOOOO good, best slept I ever had. We love your home and sweet rescue dog!!! She had SO many free snacks available it was heart warming and we loved the fresh flowers she had out for us! We wanted to take them home on the plane!

this spot is perfect for a couple or small group looking for a mountain getaway. the hot tub was great for apres and socializing, and having an actual front desk made check in seamless. the apartment itself was awesome. the Murphy bed was super comfy with a box spring and mattress. clean kitchen, all amenities supplied, even down to the coffee filters and sandwich bags. right across the street from Attitash and a short drive from wildcat. will definitely stay again!!

Nice place, we would stay there again. Close to downtown Boothbay Harbor, but not too close. Clean, updated, modern. Two thumbs up!

The amenity baskets were exceptional and the spices and kitchen appliances were amazing. I haven’t rented a place with items stocked so well. Beautiful views and extremely clean. Quick communication for a door code glitch. 5 stars all around.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space had gorgeous decor- reminiscent of the movie Casino, which added to the overall charm and gave it a nostalgic feel. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly.

It was an adorable place. We enjoyed our stay. Ryan was very responsive and gave great information of the surroundings. We had enough room for everyone and it was nice and clean. We differently will return and stay again. Thank you for not making us do a ton of cleaning and tearing down beds before we left. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The hosts were very responsive and I can't thank them enough for accommodating a late check out on our last day. Everything was truly perfect.

Perfect spot to launch from for skiing, great yard for dogs and comfy house for everyone to enjoy a winter storm. We had a blast of unexpected rain and ice, our host was super easy to get a hold of he got a sander out right away for the driveway. We definitely appreciated the responsiveness! Lake looks amazing, must be fabulous in the summer too!

Laughton House was a wonderful place for us to gather as a family and have plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company without being too cooped up. We especially loved the two big porches, the big dining table, and the comfy (high quality!) living room furniture. The beds were great, too. The quick walk to Little Beach provided great entertainment searching for sea glass and shells. We were there in the off-season and there were a few questions about the house, but Francine and Greg were available, highly responsive and friendly. Everyone in the family wants to return again during summer to enjoy the area even more!
