Vacation rentals with an accessible height bed in Southern Africa

Karina’s apartment is beautiful with incredible views of the city and Table Mountain, and right in the heart of the CBD. We were remote working from the apartment for some of our trip and we found the WiFi to be top notch, and was a few minute walk to great local coffee shops and lunch spots which suited our needs perfectly. Other key areas like Kloof St., Camps Bay and the Waterfront are all super accessible by quick and cheap Ubers. Aircon in every room was much appreciated and we felt extra safe with the building security. Thanks Karina!

Walking in the apartment was absolutely breathtaking. Honestly the pics do not do the place justice as the space is so much more free and airy which was perfect for me, hubby and baby. Host was responsive ALWAYS and forever helpful and friendly. As a lady who has a touch of OCD, this met every single expectation one can expect that I have never got from any apartment ever. Honestly well worth the price and location which is a peaceful residential area♥️ Thank you Brigitte🌸🌸🌸 I will definitely be back again.

Had a great time at Nick and Tanya’s place. In fact, we were almost late to all our activities because we just enjoyed staying at the house 😅

The house is exceptional; offering great hospitality and everything you'd need for your stay. Amanda is an amazing and very organised host who has taken every need into consideration for her guests. We really enjoyed our stay.

CJ and Elani were super kind. The place is beautiful and we had the most amazing sunset view from the upstairs bedroom. The neighborhood is really quiet but close to everything. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, and it was definitely too short. They even came to personally say good bye when we left early in the morning. Definitely a place I would book again if I would visit Plett again.

Rueby’s place was amazing, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere because it was so peaceful. All we could hear were birds singing and our laughter. The home is stunning and spacious with a beautiful patio and garden where we spent most of our time. The host was proactive, friendly and so warm. We’ll definitely be back

We had a wonderful weekend staying in Jo's beautifully furnished and immaculately clean house in a quiet street in the heart of Franschhoek. We loved being able to walk to all of the wonderful restaurants and vineyards but also be within easy reach of stunning hikes with wild swimming. Can't wait to return.

We had a lovely stay, the unit is very practical and caters to all your needs. John and his wife are the sweetest people and we enjoyed their hospitality. We had a small toddler & a baby and it was very easy to stay in this unit with great family friendly restaurants around.

Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

Fine house, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Decent kitchen and braii, good wine glasses - these are the things that matter! The wildlife visiting the deck was a treat - feeding kudu from a bucket, zebra from the hand - carefully… For those who don’t know Marloth Park, it’s a large, secure, gated estate. Walking after dark is discouraged because there’s a small risk from predators, not crime…. Two supermarkets, butchers and the pub are a minute’s drive away. Hope to make a repeat visit soon.

Emma’s home is beautiful, homely & comfortable. It is well positioned just out of the city centre & within walking distance to restaurants, bars & shops. Emma was very helpful, responsive & accommodating with our requests for check in & check out. The roof top deck with a full view of Table Mountain makes for a great sundowner. Thank you for having us to stay in your home. We would book again when next in Cape Town.

Thomas was an exceptional host ensuring everything we needed was at hand, including a late checkout. The views are spectacular, the town, people and ‘the golden mile beach’ wonderful. You must get your self to Strand and to Ocean View condos. Thank you again Sir!

We had the best weekend at Tuishuisie! Even though we are familiar with the town and the area, it was so nice to stay in the middle of Stellenbosch and act like tourists! The location made for a walkable weekend - we walked to our restaurant on Friday, and on Saturday we walked to the shops, visited a wine farm, and even had a braai on the big porch. The place itself had everything we needed and more—from extra towels and blankets to back-up electricity. It was also lovely and clean. I can highly recommend Tuishuisie as a place to stay!

The appartment was really nice and as described. We had a great stay and it was well located in Claremont. We had to check in very late but the host was flexible and very accommodating. We do recommend!

Apartment is in a safe location making it easy to explore the area. The Host added nice touches, like fresh flowers, which made the space feel welcoming. Little extras, such as coffee pods, were at thoughtful addition that made the stay enjoyable.

My stay at South Point Lodge in Cape Agulhas was absolutely incredible! The property was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and perfectly situated near the southernmost tip of Africa. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk from the iconic Cape Agulhas Lighthouse and the stunning coastline. I loved how peaceful and serene it was while still being close to local shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. They provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and made sure every detail was taken care of during my stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a unique and beautiful destination, I can’t recommend South Point Lodge enough. I’d return in a heartbeat!
